Completed in September 2020 this detached cottage features a large living room,beautiful dining kitchen , two double bedrooms with ample storage, wc room upstairs and luxury bathroom with bath and separate large walk in shower. The cottage is fully equipped for 4 people . There is your own designated parking space but also plenty of further parking in the surrounding area. A small bistro table and chairs provides outdoor seating for morning coffee , evening drinks . Dovecot Dubs is in the perfect location in the ancient Royal Burgh(1140) of Lanark with it’s connections to William Wallace. The cottage is just 1 mile from the Unesco World Heritage village of New Lanark and the picturesque Falls of Clyde. There are numerous beautiful walks and gardens to visit including the Clyde Walkway at Castlebank Park. Glasgow and Edinburgh are 1 hours drive away as well as the Scottish Borders . Craigiehall Temple (historic property built 1759)

Make you trip to Edinburgh truly memorable with a stay at Craigiehall Temple. Built in 1759 and situated in its own grounds on a former part of the Craigiehall Estate, it's Grade A listed for its stunning portico displaying the arms of the 1st Marquess of Annandale. The Anchorage, Arrochar, was built circa 1913 and has been newly upgraded in December 2019 giving the cottage a luxurious interior with gas central heating and beautiful wood burning stove. Two ensuites and a beautiful bathroom provides guests with plenty of room whilst the large garden with pizza oven and BBQ has amazing views where guests can relax on the decking or seek shade in the lean to. Everyone can use the fire pit, games room or play area to keep occupied or use the Kayaks provided.

Relax at this cosy country cottage with a log burner, walled garden and conservatory. Dumra cottage is dog friendly and suitable for everyone with plenty amenities in the area. Netflix , Wifi & nespresso machine. The garden is enclosed with a firepit/BBQ and it situated right next door to the local cafe, Laurel Bank Tea Room. Dumra cottage is just a 10 minute drive to Biggar town and a 15 minute drive to Cornhill Castle wedding venue. Charcuterie board or breakfast hamper available on request.
