Although I never met Arpita, she manages her parents home online - Arpita is excellent at communication. Arpita's English is excellent and she communicates clearly and concisely. I never had to wait long for a reply. This listing offers extra services like prepared meals and arranging excursions and transportation. All of these services were delivered with excellence. I brought a colleague with me, with the two of us we had quite a list of foods we didn't eat. All of the meals were delicious and met our dietary needs. This home is located on a very busy road. The rooms on the exterior wall facing the road experience road noise which was difficult for sleeping. You can hear loud noise going on in the upstairs bathrooms in the early morning. The family's staff are all wonderful. I felt welcomed and well cared for and enjoyed my stay.

The Re-treat, roomy independent house for family

we had a wonderful stay at The retreat, its a really cozy independent home with all the listed amenities. The best part was the open kitchen and the living room. the place is also very bright and centrally located. Had lots of fun playing with Tony and Luci.

A great no frills stay with great accessibility. If you're looking for a tidy and neat space to sleep and rest, this fits the bill. Only issue is there's one bathroom shared between both rooms. We were a family of 4, so it was okay with us for a night's stay. The hosts Mosengfa and Pratyush were very forthcoming and communicated with us throughout. They also arranged for the Elephant safari despite peak season rush. Definitely worth the money.

2BHK Minimalist Apartment with shared terrace

The home has everything one needs for a comfortable stay. Lentina's mum and dad are the sweetest. They very kindly even offered us a dragon fruit from their farm and also made us breakfast one morning cause we struggled with using an induction cooktop. The home is in a location of good restaurants in the vicinity. the home is spotless and in addition to the listed amenities, the host has taken care to provide added amenities which are not even listed. The unit is in a safe location and has a beautiful terrace to relax in addition to the balcony of the flat which also is very comfortable. On good days with no traffic, one can reach the home in less than 15-20 mins from the Airport. Walkable distance to the Hongkong Market which is a market for shopping for winter clothes, bags and other local things and street food. It's a good choice to stay at the place weather you're in town for a short visit or a long stay.

Zube's place is fantastic. It is a lovely clean family home which is suitable for a family or couples. Many of the fittings are brand new and the kitchen is well stocked to enable you to cook in the house if you want. The house is within easy reach of the centre of Wokha by shared auto. Best of all, Zube and her extended family are outstanding hosts and went out of their way to make us feel at home, and helped us get the most out of our time in Wokha. If you want to experience wonderful and authentic Naga hospitality, Zube's place is an excellent choice and I would highly recommend it.

'Chang Ghar' - An 1-Bedroom Independent Homestay

Even thousand words are simply not enough to describe what me and my wife felt about this place! Outstanding would simply be an understatement. We were travelling from Guwahati to Sivasagar and decided to make a night halt in Jorhat. The primary reason for choosing this place was the washing machine :) Little did we know that we were in for such a pleasant surprise! Arunav had been very proactive in all the communications. His father, who lives right next to the property, kept in touch so that we don't find any difficulty in finding the address. We reached at around 8 pm, there was space to park our car inside the premises. Just a short flight of stairs and Chang Ghar amazed us like no other Airbnb property has ever before! "So very thoughtful!", my wife exclaimed. There was literally everything that one might need. Chang Ghar has much more than that is listed in the description. But more than anything else, it was the love and warmth of Phukan Sir, which we shall forever cherish!

Kenei is a wonderful host and he provided us with the most beautiful room with the perfect view of the hills in Kohima. He is warm, patient and assisted me with all my queries. I am grateful to him and his lovely housekeeper Sini for our time in Kohima. Thanks Kenei and see you again soon !
