From the decking it's exhilarating watching the birds & boats as you are more or less right above the water's edge. A cosy, open-plan cabin for two on the Waternish peninsula, overlooking the sea with outstanding views across Loch Snizhort to the ferry port of Uig, and south to Raasay and the mainland. Welcome back to Taigh Glas Studio. Taigh Glas, situated in Lochbay, Waternish, a natural heritage peninsula, overlooks the ocean, the Stein Waterfront and sunsets over the Western Isles. The house is a short walk from Lochbay Michelin star Restaurant and Stein Inn, and along the road from Skye Skyns and their yurt with coffee and home made cakes. It’s centrally situated for all of Skye’s iconic sights such as Storr, Quiraing, Fairy Pools and Fairy Glen.

We have replaced our Little Skye Bothy in 2022. Same view but a little more space and you still have your own piece of tranquility with outstanding views to the loch and the mountains.
