We thoroughly enjoyed Anne's pod accommodation. A great peaceful, quiet location with beautiful scenery and farm animals. Easy access to the town of Portree. We travelled the entire island of Skye over 3 days. Anne was a great host. Always responsive. The pod was very clean and tidy and had everything we needed. The pod was comfortable and warm. We highly recommend Anne as a host and Anne's pod as a charming place to stay. Colin & Deborah

An excellent place with amazing views to stay if you're in Skye or want a base to explore! Cabin was warm, clean and comfortable and the instructions to find it were excellent. Donald and Eileen were great hosts, especially with the short notice booking! I would 100% recommend their place and will look to stay here again in the future!

Spent a peaceful night in the pod and thoroughly enjoyed it. The pod itself was lovely and Sarah left lots of little extra goodies so we didn’t need to worry about having milk etc , arriving off a late boat . Great having the small enclosed garden/parking area at the front for our dogs safety. Wish we could have stayed longer ! Thanks Sarah!

Sur notre road trip, une halte dans un logement atypique offrant une magnifique vue avec coucher du soleil. Le pod est propre et adapté pour un couple. Nous avons mangé dans la salle commune spacieuse et très fonctionnelle avec tout à disposition. Une belle expérience pour nous. Nous recommandons vivement pour les aventuriers des routes.

Just amazing! The pod is situated on top of a hill, which gives an amazing view. It is very peaceful and the only sound you hear is from some sheep and birds. The pods are well built and have everything you need. There are also a lot of beautifull hikes nearby. We had a great stay there.

Great comfortable van in a good location to all the highlights of the islands (especially the northern ones). Unfortunately we were unlucky to experience one of the first major storms of the autumn. Luckily, the van is equipped with a large and good selection of films, which got us through the storm (we always wanted to watch all three Lord of the Rings in the extended version in one go). We'll be back again!

La casa è un piccolo cottage bucolico in mezzo alla natura, con una splendida vista sul mare e sul verde, gli unici suoni sono quelli delle pecorelle al pascolo. Ci siamo sentiti a casa, in un ambiente confortevole a cui non manca davvero nulla. Non abbiamo potuto stare molto sul portico, data la pioggia, ma abbiamo goduto del fuoco nella stufa che aveva già tutto l’occorrente per i due giorni che siamo stati lì. In generale consiglio questo posto soprattutto se avete qualche giorno da spendere sull’isola di Skye e nessuna fretta di girarla, essendo a sud per alcune attrazioni naturali dell’isola non è comoda la distanza, ma avendo tempo non c’è alcun problema. Grazie mille ad Anita per la sua gentilezza e disponibilità.

The accommodation was beautifully and lovingly furnished, creating a very welcoming and comfortable atmosphere. The house was equipped with everything you need for your daily needs, which made our stay incredibly convenient. We especially appreciated the peaceful surroundings that allowed us to truly relax. Overall, it was a wonderful place to stay – calm, cozy, and thoughtfully arranged. The hosts took great care of us – they responded quickly to any messages, checked in to make sure everything was fine when we arrived, and even gave us helpful recommendations for our stay. Their kindness and attentiveness made us feel truly welcome.

It was beautiful and quiet. This is a good place for people to connect with nature and each other. Great couple’s getaway! We were able to cook a wonderful meal but also had a chance to eat at Elgol Bistro, which was great and within walking distance! If cooking food or want snacks, recommend stopping in Broadford because the drive is quite long!

What a lovely stay! Rebecca was so kind and helpful. The bed was super comfy, high end linens, very clean and lovely details all around. Wood stove warmed everything up so fast. You can tell there was a lot of thought and care put into the space. Perfect spot for exploring all the Isle of Skye favorites! Snap this one up if you can, it’s magic!

We had a truly perfect stay at Shauna’s place on the Isle of Skye. Shauna was such a kind host and always available to help with anything we needed. The accommodation was clean, beautifully decorated, and equipped with everything you could possibly need for a comfortable stay. Every detail showed care and attention, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. I would absolutely recommend Shauna’s place to anyone visiting Skye, and would love to stay here again!

We had a lovely stay. The location was great. Walkable to Kilt Rock and Staffin Dinosaur Museum and only 15 min drive to the Quairing. Great for getting ahead of the crowds. It was a great base for exploring the North end of the peninsula. Bathroom has the cutest tiny sink, but it really is tiny! Hosts were friendly and helpful.

The Oystercatcher is a truly special place - we loved the quiet location and the beautiful views. It was a perfect place to base ourselves for a few days of walking. The accommodation itself is perfect - every amenity necessary was provided. We especially liked the welcome pack with breakfast items including milk and orange juice - a lovely touch. Mags has thought of everything - thank you. We would definitely stay again if visiting Skye.

Sally and Rob were great hosts and made us feel right at home. We had the perfect stay in such a beautiful location. The accommodation was spotless and you can really tell that so much love and work has been put into it. We can't wait to come back!

Ann was a lovely host and was always quick to reply. The view from the pod was amazing and had a nice little secluded beach not too far away. The place had everything you could need for a short or longer stay and a great hot tub ! Perfect for a little break away!

We were really happy to find this beautiful place in the nature of the Isle of Skye. It is located next to Neist Point, one of the most suggestive and wonderful place we have seen on this trip. Hilary and Andy were fantastic and helpful, definitely a place I would recommend to friends. The cottage has everything you need for an unforgettable stay. I loved every minute of my stay at An T-Iasgair Pod. From the cup of coffee in the morning with an ocean view and sheep in front of the window to meeting a wee little lamb to getting to know the history of the croft. Sandra and Kenneth are extremely nice and welcoming people and I felt very well taken care of. It’s beautiful to see their love for their land and sheep. I’m hoping to come back soon :)

It's difficult to leave the views behind. Thoughtfully furnished and decorated for maximum comfort and enjoyment. Small but mighty! A great place for some peaceful solitude in the natural beauty of Harris.

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Skye ist eine sehr schöne Insel und die Unterkunft ist so gelegen, dass gegen Abend nur ganz wenige Personen vorbeifahren :) die Unterkunft war sehr sauber und gemütlich.

One of the best accomodations we've ever had. It reminded us on our last year's holiday with a motorhome, just a but bigger and cozier. The surrounding is very peaceful, a real serenity. Clean place, good recommendations to eat somewhere, and Talisker Beach is not far away.

We had wonderful two nights stay here. It's my dream shepherd's hut. Cozy and beauty. We arrived late and Colin waited for us and warm welcome us and reminded us of the Aurora!!! There is only a microwave oven that can simply heat food, which may not be very good for people who want to cook, but this is not a problem, because everything is perfect.

Sehr schöne und gemütliche Unterkunft auf der Isle of Skye, die eher klein aber aussergewöhnlich ist. Es hat an nichts gefehlt. Die Kommunikation mit Claire war sehr gut. Wir haben uns rundum wohl gefühlt. Die Lage ist ziemlich zentral auf der Insel gelegen und somit ideal, um die ganze Insel (mit Auto) zu erkunden.

This place is heaven and Jackie makes you feel right at home. You have your own spot with a personal view in a “tiny home” studio with kitchenette. It met all our expectations- comfy and functional. We were able to too cook breakfast and dinner quite easily. It was 3 miles from center of Carbost and really convenient to lots to do. Would highly recommend.
