Spencer house was a nice surprise! Located in a calm neighbourhood but close to town centre markets and eateries. Coming to the house, it’s a lovely old building maintained to high standards of cleanliness. The building has an old world charm and has a certain character. We traveled with our parents and families , all of us were reminiscing grandpa’s bungalow! The balcony near kitchen is great place to hang out in the evenings Gowri is super responsive, provides clear communication , and had provided guidance on local sightseeing and food options. Check in was smooth with the care taker. Couple of points to note , the house is on first floor with 3 large size bedrooms with attached toilets and kitchen , balconies; the stair to first floor is bit steep , so for elderly people it may be bit difficult . The kitchen is well equipped but only with an induction cooker. So it’s good for light preparations Overall had a great time and would recommend the place in Chikkamagalur.

I had a wonderful stay at Nirmala's Homestay. The place was cozy, well-maintained, and had a very peaceful atmosphere. The surroundings were absolutely beautiful, with lush green trees all around and a charming little waterfall nearby that added to the serenity of the place. Mornings were especially magical, waking up to the soothing sounds of birds chirping. It was the perfect escape from city life, offering a refreshing and relaxing experience. The hosts were warm and welcoming, ensuring a comfortable stay. If you’re looking for a tranquil getaway close to nature, this homestay is an excellent choice! Highly recommended

Absolutely Magical Stay – A Hidden Gem in Chikmagalur! If you’re looking for a peaceful, rejuvenating getaway nestled amidst nature, this is the place to be. Our stay at this gorgeous homestay was nothing short of spectacular. Incredible Hostess and Staff❤️ From the moment we booked, the host was warm, responsive, and went out of their way to ensure everything was seamless. Special mention to Rakshanda, our lovely hostess, whose hospitality made us feel so at home. Her team, including the sweetest cook akka and the ever-helpful caretakers, were all wonderful. Breathtaking Location & Beautiful Property The location is pure bliss — surrounded by lush greenery and calm, with a serene lake right in front of our beautiful, spacious duplex. The view from our window overlooking the water was a daily dose of peace and beauty. The environment was incredibly private, which made our stay all the more special. Location is very tranquil, calm, and soothing. The hosts are very friendly did everything needed to make our stay memorable. Pallavi and her mother in law are very good cooks. We toured their farm where they grow coffee and pepper. There are a number of waterfalls and historic temples in the area that are worth visiting and not to forget the hikes that lead to beautiful views of the mountains and green valley. On areas for improvement, the place has one bathroom for a room of 8 people and an additional shared bathroom for the 3 rooms. The hosts can increase the number of shared bathrooms.

I had a fantastic stay at this Airbnb! The flat was exactly as described—clean, cozy, and well-equipped with all the essentials. The host was incredibly responsive and made sure everything went smoothly. The location was perfect, close to everything I needed. Would highly recommend staying here!

Wonderful stay. Felt at home. Beautiful location. Aaron was supportive in providing directions and any other information required. Would be great if the room has provision to keep clothes, things like a wardrobe.

Beautiful location and peaceful setting. No complaints with the property whatsoever. Minor communication issues regarding the service. Property wasn’t fully cleaned and ready during check-in time. Turns out the primary caretaker was on leave so a lot of back and forth with backup person. Kitchen is in a separate quarter in the same compound so a quick walk. Once everything was in place it was a serene experience to stay and enjoy the night.
