We were a family of 4 adults - a 16 year old and an 8 year old and the house and location were ideal for us as the 2 adults and 2 kids were visiting from Australia. We were able to entertain friends who popped in as there was so much space, well equipped kitchen, huge BBQ etc. We loved this house and would go back. The only negative was the WiFi was not great in the house, but it's also not great reception in the area - so hopefully that will improve. If you were going to work while staying it wouldn't be easy to do so. A great experience was had by all and the highlight was being able to use the pool and leisure centre in Sheen Falls Hotel across the road. Whenever we needed anything Paudie or Kathy were on it immediately.

Stayed for 2 nights as a family - the location was so spacious, clean and comfortable. Easy to find and very safe, kids could play outside. We used the hotel leisure facilities , went for a walk on the beach, and overall just explored and relaxed. Keira's place was very homely and we ended up having dinner there rather than going to a restaurant as it was so comfortable. Will stay again, thanks Keira !

We had a lovely stay and felt very safe. The house was lovely and spacious. Very comfortable beds and very quiet. The house was clean and we had everything we needed. Blathnaid was a great host and responded to a question from us within minutes.

Magical views can hardly do justice to the setting of this house. The expansive view over the sea to distant hills is quite exquisite, the peace and silence go deep inside you. We spent many hours just sitting outside in the lovely garden drinking it all in. The house itself is a delight – full of artistic touches created from nature by the owner Birgit. Spotlessly clean with lots of comfortable beds. The upstairs bedroom in the extension has a huge window with panoramic views out over the bay and below it is a large yoga room with lovely views for any activity you choose – the bi-fold doors open out onto a large terrace. Birgit has clearly thought of everything you might need – from organic hand soaps in each of the three bathrooms to an extraordinarily well-equipped cook’s kitchen, including herbs and spices and teas. As if all this wasn’t enough, there is also an outdoor wooden sauna in the garden and a stream-fed natural pond that you can plunge into after the sauna – bliss!

Michelle was so accommodating and kind. We booked the same day of arrival and Michelle went out of her way to go to and clean and sort out the place before our arrival. The home is perfect for families and pets. The estate’s amenities are great, and we enjoyed tea and scones in the club house as well as use of the leisure centre.

This is a modern house in an excellent location. It’s just a few minutes stroll to Kenmare with its many cafes and restaurants / bars, but is also quiet at night. Parking is available outside the door alongside EV charging points. The house has a very well equipped kitchen with all the usual utensils etc. Basics such as oil and seasoning's were also available. There were little touches with pictures and ornaments which really added to the homely feel. The beds were comfortable while the showers in the bathroom and en-suite were powerful. We enjoyed using the garden furniture during the warm sunny weather, while knowing the garden was enclosed was great for our small dog (and us)! Use of the hotel leisure facilities was an added bonus. Communication with John was excellent. Self check-in and out was seamless. Overall, we had a thoroughly enjoyable stay and would highly recommend this great house. Many thanks for hosting us.

Beautiful, modern & well designed cabin in the woods in the privacy and comfort of the Inishbeg estate. The views looking into the woods and out towards the estuary are stunning, as is the starry sky on a clear night. It was a great bonus to also be able to enjoy the amenities of the estate, and Paul was very accommodating as a host. The location is very private, as the house is located down its own drive in the woods. There is an adjacent path near the house which is accessible to other guests and visitors to the estate, as well as a neighbouring house nearby but there's still a very good sense of privacy. The house is almost exactly 10 minutes drive from Baltimore and Skibbereen, with easy access to Sherkin, Cape Clere and Lough Hyne, so there's plenty to do and see nearby, as well as plenty of places to eat and buy food to prepare - including some delicious local seafood. Would definitely stay at Inishbeg again.

Very nice house in a lovely setting. There were only 5 of us that stayed for just 1 night, but the house is set up to host many more people. Wished we could have stayed longer. Lovely meeting Mary who met us at the house and made sure we were got in ok and to let her know if we needed anything. Overall, a very pleasant experience and would recommend to others.

Beautiful property and house! My family and I had a wonderful time. We loved the area of the house, always had something to do and explore. We really enjoyed all the animals close by. I would definitely recommend this home.

What a beautiful hidden gem, in the most peaceful surroundings. I chose here as it was a short journey from family. We were not only welcomed by Cleos family but also little freddie the dog, who we looked forward to seeing each day. The place was pristine with everything we needed. Beds were so comfortable and plenty of space to relax. We absolutely loved our stay and hope we can visit again soon. Thank you so much xx

We absolutely loved being able to call this place home during our visit to Ireland. Sheila and Redmond were very responsive and friendly in making sure we had everything we needed and more. The location was beautiful and conveniently walkable to the pier, shops and pubs. Our girls especially loved the little playroom - perfect for our family trip!! We’ll definitely be back!

We really enjoyed our stay — the house is spacious yet cosy and warm, with a lovely homely feel. The setting was perfect: quiet, peaceful, and still conveniently close to the town. Our hosts were very welcoming and thoughtful. We'd love to come back for another getaway — highly recommend!

Gorgeous place in a nice, quiet area in west Cork. If you want a place to stay away from the hustle and bustle, but close enough to see so many things, Pat’s place is it! It is quaint and cozy and disconnected! Don’t plan on doing a lot of screen time (internet connectivity is not the best), but that is the beauty of this stay! Beds comfortable and the best sun porch for breakfast or an afternoon nap! Will stay here again!

Our family of four had a lovely stay at Eileen’s house!! The house was perfect for us and the garden is truly a little oasis. Eileen was so responsive and helpful. Highly recommend.

Amazing stay, highly recommended! We had a wonderful stay in Listowel.The town is lovely and full of kind and helpful people who made our visit even more special. We were four couples, and the house was absolutely perfect for us – spacious, elegant, and just as beautiful as in the photos. It was clean, well-equipped, and very comfortable for a group. Robert and Joe were extremely responsive and kind throughout the whole process – from key collection to making sure we were settled and happy. Their hospitality truly made a difference in our stay. As a small suggestion for improvement, the water pressure in the upstairs bathroom could be stronger, and we felt the kitchen could use a few more large pots and pans, as we cooked at home and would have appreciated more cooking options. Overall,our experience was wonderful, and we are very grateful. We truly hope to return soon and would definitely recommend this home to anyone looking for a warm and welcoming stay. Really beautiful house and so close to the town. Views out the windows were incredible. Ideal location for exploring Dingle and Shea Head Drive etc

We stayed at Clodagh's beautiful house for two nights with four children and our dog, and it was absolutely perfect. The kids adored the private beach, and the house itself is full of cosy nooks — perfect for games of hide and seek and for relaxing in the evenings. The views are simply stunning, and the house is just so lovely and welcoming. Everything was immaculate, and Sean was incredibly helpful and responsive throughout our stay. I honestly can't recommend this house highly enough — we had a wonderful time and would love to return!

Pictures couldn't possibly capture the beauty of the location. Magnificent sunset! The house was perfect for our extended family of 12 adults and 4 young children. The playground and trampoline were a hit Plenty of room to spread out, sleeping was comfortable. Only functional issue we had was hot water for showers. We had to message the host who was able to remotely turn on the water heater. A bit of a nuisance waiting for it to warm up, but worked out in the end. Just a note--read the amenities listing and know what to bring with you (ie shampoo, body wash, any coffee, tea,spices etc you may need to cook. ) It is clearly spelled out. The closest store is 10-15 mins away. Quite a trek if you forget something and don't have a car !
