A typical Karst house with a touch of modernity is located in a small village Tomačevica - on the Karst plateau in the Littoral region of Slovenia (Primorska). It stands bettween Štanjel (which is also one of the most beautiful villages in Slovenia) and Komen. It is a great place to stay, cause you can have a peaceful vacations there on the one side and several opportunities to spend really active holidays on the other side. There are several cycling routes, 20 minutes and you are in Italy (Trieste or a cost of Sistiana) or in Lipica, 45 minutes and you are in Portorose or an hour and you are in Ljubljana. What is the most important is that you can enjoy also just standing in the house. You can swim in a swimming pool or play a volleyball in it, you can watch a television, surf on the internet or simply enjoy in jacuzzi. You can have a walk in the vineyards, in the season you can eat figs, apples, cherrys from the domestic garden and relax in the beautiful nature. There are several Tourist farms and Osmicas, where you can eat as many specialitetes as Karst is serving and drink the best Teran (vine) in the world. Where the Mediterranean part of Slovenia meets the mainland, where limestone and fysch meet face to face, the diversity of the landscape overwhelms us, the bora blows and the home cooking allures us to stay. Natural and cultural heritage invite travellers to visit the world-famous sights, as well as to explore the hidden spots. Nudi razgled na dolino Branice, grad Rihemberg in na Kraški rob. Idealno za pohode kolesarjenje in sprehode v naravi. v reki Vipavi(2km) pa se da plavati Ribariti in čolnariti. This is a wonderful, cosy and private apartment in this lovely little village. The space has just finished renovation and everything is new, fully equipped kitchen, large bedroom with TV, lovely bathroom and another separate WC. Country style living and dining area overlooking the private garden which is now fenced, and terrace with doors out to this area. The Fenced garden area is secure for dogs. Netflix and Wifi throughout. Charcoal BBQ in the garden.

Casa Bandel is a renovated old semi-detached house with a big garden and a swiming pool. The home maintains its original charm and allure and holds up to the integrity of the original style and Karst traditions. The owners live on the property in separate house and take care of the pool and the well-kept garden/courtyard and are available to help guests. The guest house can be rented only if it is rented as a whole unit.
