I just returned from an incredible adventure at Da Alohas Homestay, and I couldn't wait to share my experience with you. From the moment we arrived, the team at Da Alohas made us feel like cherished guests. The hospitality was top-notch, and it truly set the tone for our stay. The property itself is absolutely stunning, nestled in a serene environment that offers breathtaking views. I must say, enjoying lunch with such an amazing backdrop was a highlight of our trip. The scenery is so picturesque that it feels like you’ve stepped into a postcard! One of the standout aspects of our stay was the food. The chef at Da Alohas is a culinary genius! Each meal was a delight, showcasing a menu that speaks for itself. We savored every bite, from local delicacies to international favorites, all prepared with such care and attention to detail. If you're looking for a getaway that combines relaxation with adventure, I highly recommend visiting Da Alohas at least once.

This is a beautifully built home and Siddharth is an amazing and a very warm host. The place is even better than what is shown in the images, it has a warm and peaceful vibe, exactly what we were looking for. We were regretting why did we not book it for longer. Siddharth was in touch through out and ensured that we are comfortable and get everything we need. The cook cooked really good home cooked food. The view from the glass house and bedrooms were icing on the cake and we just loved to have morning tea in the balcony enjoying the beautiful mountains. We had a wonderful experience and we would love to come back again soon.

We had a truly wonderful stay at The Verandah, Bhimtal. We were a group of 4 senior citizens, 5 adults, kids, and an infant, and the property turned out to be the perfect choice for all age groups. It’s clean, well-maintained, and easily accessible by car — a big plus when traveling with seniors and little ones. The highlight of our experience was the exceptional hospitality. The staff — Krishna, Chandan, Himanshu, and Anmol — were incredibly polite, warm, and always available when needed, yet respectfully invisible when we wanted our space. Their service was seamless and thoughtful in every way. A special mention to Amrit, the owner, who is kind, humble, and genuinely cares about her guests' experience. We were there to celebrate my son's 5th birthday, and thanks to the team, it became a truly memorable occasion for all of us. Highly recommended for families looking for a peaceful, cozy, and heartwarming getaway in Bhimtal. We'd love to return!

This review does not do justice to our stay and experience at the writer's lodge and the main cottage. All amenities are available at the cottage. The cottage is located almost at the top of the mountain, and the view from here is spectacular. The greenery around and the silence of the mountains brings calmness and peace. The caretaker, Raju, and his helper Sourav were very courteous and helpful. Raju cooked delicious home cooked meals for us. The host Shalini was receptive and very co-operative. I had a very warm and comfortable stay. I'm so grateful to shalini for sharing her home with us. I'm extremely thankful to Raju for making us feel at home with his cooked meals.

We were 8 people with 2 kids, it felt almost like home away from home. The caretaker Suresh & his colleague were simply very humble and nice. The Food was top notch quality & very decently priced. Both Suresh and his colleague were always responsive and ready to help and provide. Everyone was extremely happy with Arjun's arrangement. Always recommended & we will re-visit at same place whenever in Nainital.

A special mention must go to Kailashji and Trilokji, whose hospitality truly made our stay unforgettable. They welcomed us with open arms and treated us like family, going above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. Their kindness, attention to detail, and genuine care created a homely environment that we deeply appreciated. And the food—what a treat! Every meal was delicious, prepared with love and full of authentic flavors. It was the perfect blend of comfort and taste. We’re incredibly grateful for such a memorable experience and the warmth shown to us throughout our visit.

It was wonderful to stay at your villa. It is more beautiful and maintained than described. We were a family of 15, and it was a perfect place to stay and celebrate. High cooperation from the hosts and the attending staff. The food prepared was also up to the mark. Very well located. Not very far away from the mall road and had all the calmness we needed. I recently booked this homestay on Airbnb last minute, and it turned out to be the best decision. The newly developed A-frame wooden cottages offered a stunning sunrise view from the massive balcony. The room was exceptionally clean, comfortable, and spacious enough for four guests. I highly recommend this place to anyone seeking a delightful stay. The host, Daksh, ensured a smooth check-in process and provided me with fantastic suggestions for nearby attractions. I was thoroughly impressed by the hospitality and service provided by Daksh, making my experience even more enjoyable.

I had the pleasure of staying at The Cullinan House’s studio apartment in Nainital, Uttarakhand, and it was an exceptional experience. The studio was impeccably clean and tastefully decorated, providing a cozy and inviting atmosphere. The comfortable furnishings and well-equipped amenities made it feel like a home away from home. The location is ideal, offering easy access to Nainital’s attractions while being nestled in a tranquil neighborhood. The serene surroundings provided a perfect retreat after a day of exploring. The host was incredibly responsive and attentive, ensuring that all my needs were met promptly. A standout feature was the private balcony, which offered stunning views of the surrounding hills—a perfect spot for morning coffee or evening relaxation. I highly recommend The Cullinan House’s “The Regent” to anyone visiting Nainital and look forward to returning in the future.

Ahoy, future travellers this place became my home away from home for two days. The hosts are very warm and helpful. The place is good for three to four travellers. The place is situated away from hustle bustle of city on a ridge of a picturesque ridge of Almora. The hosts were really helpful in arranging local sight seeing tour.

We had a wonderful stay at Karan's place. It is away from the usual tourist hubs within a short driving distance to Sattal and Bhimtal and has a great view of the valley from the terrace and balcony, which are open to guests. The caretaker, Mr Saraj was very polite and attentive to all our requests and Karan kindly provided an early check in. The room was clean and comfortable.

It is a fantastic place with very warm people. Devika Aunty is an amazing woman who has created a magical corner surrounded by hills. Her charming cottage is decorated with peach plants, blooming hydrengeas and hemmed by lovely pink climbing rose vines. Her staff is caring and take great effort to make the guests feel comfortable. Every meal we had here is a memory to cherish - from bengali luchis to pahadi rajma and ragi roti. It is a place to relax and reflect, a slice of good life that we all chase put together affectionately by the incredible Devika Aunty.

Every thing was nice but they are in hurry to push you out. At 11am. The care taker started calling at 11am. Constantly. To vacate the room which was little upsetting. Also the place is beautiful location but. The approach of the caretaker was not great Very dry and no smile on face .

The place felt right at home and it was peaceful, calm, and serene. There was a lovely view from the drawing room and it was quite beautiful. We enjoyed our stay. It’s a private property and was easy to find. A proper cottage for a family and a big group. The caretaker was really helpful and provided really good service and cooked home cooked meals that were very healthy and tasty. Overall a must stay.

Getting there: We travelled from Noida and the road that leads to the place is steep but easily drivable. I recommend to contact hosts in advance and understand the exact location The place: This is one of the most thoughtfully constructed property that I have lived. The host is an architect and this property seems his passion project. There are a lot of wow elements. The kitchen is high quality, the common area is amazing, the natural light is great and the place just feels like jewel. I would specially like to mention about Rohit, the care taker who is courteous, very punctual and kind. I would recommend that you take meals in-house because it is cooked in front of you and tastes amazing. There are beautiful trails to walk and we even walked down to Sattal which was challenging but fun and I would 10/10 recommend everyone to try that. I would definitely visit again and thanks to Ashok for opening up this property for otehr guests to enjoy.
