Real garden home in Amphawa (Golden Gardenia)

This homestay is absolutely lovely - whether you stay by the river or in the garden, the hosts and all who work there are incredibly kind and hospitable, providing wonderful food and activities at all times. The view from the river is gorgeous and peaceful. If you are looking for a relaxing weekend away from Bangkok, this is the place to go.

Somchai's Resort liegt in einem kleinen Paradies. Inmitten einer Kokospalmenplantage. Einfach traumhaft.Das ganze Resort ist sehr gepflegt, wunderschön bepflanzt. Die Zimmer sauber und sehr gemütlich. Die Klimaanlage funktioniert super. Das Personal ist sehr nett und hilft sofort weiter. Somchai ist ein toller Gastgeber. So viel Herzlichkeit und Aufmerksamkeit bekommt man sonst nirgendwo. Jeden Morgen erwartete uns ein frisches Frühstück. Im Garten hingen Mangos, die wir geschenkt bekamen. Alle Fragen wurden sofort beantwortet. Er hat uns viele Tipps für unseren Aufenthalt gegeben. Wir haben uns wie zu Hause gefühlt. Herzlichen Dank für alles und liebe Grüße

C’est la deuxième fois que nous venons à PapaHouse229. Nous avons même réorganisé notre séjour en Thaïlande pour pouvoir y revenir car nous avions gardé un très bon souvenir ! Encore une fois nous avons été très bien accueillis. 😊 Tout était parfait ! Le service proposé est excellent : de l’eau bien fraîche nous attendait dans le réfrigérateur et l’hôte, comme pour la première fois, a mis à notre disposition de quoi grignoter. C’est le logement à prendre absolument si vous souhaitez passer quelques jours au Marché Flottant d’Amphawa : c’est un marché très calme la journée et très animé la nuit. Nous avons pu assister à un concert de chanteurs populaires locaux. Très belle ambiance ! Merci 🙏🏽 Nous reviendrons ! C’est sûr !

The place was perfect—just as described! It’s an ideal getaway for a quick family escape from Bangkok. The house is beautifully designed, and if you love traditional Thai architecture with stunning antique furniture, this is the perfect spot. The pool and garden were lovely, and it’s only about 10 minutes from Amphawa Floating Market. Highly recommended! The host was also very nice, with easy and smooth communication.

Unexpected stay at NR Homestay because I am a city girl and this was my first time stay in a wooden house. The fish porridge for breakfast is delicious. Bread and beverages are complimentary. She arrange a boat for us to go to Amphawa Floating Market and see fireflies. It cost only 600 baht per boat for 2 hours. And arrange her staff to help us carry our luggages to the room during check-in and check-out. Good services. Thank you so much.

I had a wonderful stay at Lamp U House Amphawa. The host was incredibly kind and always available for communication, making the whole experience smooth and welcoming. The accommodation itself was stylish, artistic, and full of unique character—every detail was thoughtfully designed. It’s a peaceful and inspiring place to relax. The value for what you get is exceptional. I highly recommend this stay to anyone visiting Amphawa and would love to return again in the future!

We really enjoyed our stay at the River Coco with the beautiful and well-groomed garden and the great breakfast at the river. Maew was so helpful and friendly in any case. We can strongly recommend this accomodation close to the Mae Klong, damnoen suduak and amphawa market.

Väldigt trevlig liten villa. Skön säng & kuddar. Rent snyggt. Perfekt att koppla av i detta hus. Bra pool. Lugnt och mysigt. Bra kontakt med hyresvärden. Nära till Maeklong railway market. GRAB fungerar inte här, BOLT fungerar bättre.

L'hôte est vraiment exceptionnel, gentil et serviable. Il va vous emmener partout pour visiter tous les lieux importants autour. Il vous conseille et fait toujours en sorte de proposer des activités qui vous plaises. Il dedie sont temps à votre sejour. (Moyennant un petit complément du montant que vous souhaitez). Les lits sont pas les plus confortables mais font bien l'affaire. Les lieux, l'emplacement est idyllique, calme avec un cours d'eau ! Vous serez plongez dans la Thaïlande profonde moins touristique. Je ne peux que vous recommander ce logment.
