The Sumner Loft

Located in the heart of Sumner village centre, The Sumner Loft is an award winning architectural apartment with ocean glimpses. It has open plan kitchen, living and dining and slider doors onto an sunny outdoor deck. Two king bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms, as well as a compact bunk room for the kids with 4 bunk beds. With underfloor heating on the lower level it’s lovely and cosy in the winter. Perfect for a holiday by the beach with the advantages of being in the centre of a bustling village.

Garden suite

The guest area is private. It has a queen bedroom with ensuite, its own entrance, veranda and outside space. There is a private lounge for exclusive guest use overlooking the garden with fridge/tea/coffee etc. It is nestled in the foothills of the pretty suburb of Cashmere, on excellent bus routes, but close enough to walk into the city if you wish. There are beautiful riverside walks to cafes and bars close by. The garden is stunning with fantails, silvereyes and bellbirds as regular visitors.

Black Diamond

Kick back and relax in this calm, stylish space at the end of a private laneway. Accessed by external steps, the house is split into two pods connected by an external deck. Lofty ceilings and timber walls create a warm bach-like interior with large ceiling fans in each room and a log burner fire. Glass sliders open out to dramatic views of the harbour and hills. Enjoy a drink or BBQ on the large deck or unwind with a hot outdoor bath. Just a 5-minute walk from the local supermarket and brew bar.

A beautiful private hill-side sanctuary in Sumner overlooking Christchurch with a clear view to the southern alps, estuary & the whole of pegasus bay. This ecologically & sustainably designed home off a private lane surrounded by native bushland with arguably one of the best views in town. With less than a 5 minute drive or a 15 minute walk downhill you will have access to Sumner Beach and Village. Alternatively a short walk uphill to access mountain bike and walking tracks on the Port Hills.

The modern cottage has one bedroom, lounge/living area, and private deck. Cooking facilities include a BBQ on the deck, small bench-top oven, and microwave. The cottage has a fully functional kitchen, and a washer dryer to get all of your laundry sorted. The cottage has a double bedroom with a queen bed, a single bedroom and a comfortable pull out couch if there are more people staying. We would absolutely love to host you but please be aware this is not a hotel. It's primarily a place for family to stay when they come and visit so just treat it like your own home away from home ☺️
