The Three Bear’s Den cabin was a perfect getaway for my husband and I! It was clean, so clean for a cabin in the woods! The hot tub was great! The linens, bath towels especially, were luxurious! The cabin’s distance, about 15 miles, from the New River Gorge National Park, was just right. Staff at the campground were very responsive. My only suggestion is an update on the stove is in order, and maybe floor racks for luggage given the lack of closets.

It’s a perfect place for a vacation of hiking and rafting. We used it as a respite on the halfway point heading home from a southern vacation. It was comfortable, super clean and a supremely well equipped kitchen. There’s a nice neighborhood bar and grill a stones throw away.

We loved our stay and can’t wait to go back. Pervis is a phenomenal host. He went out of his way to make sure we enjoyed our stay. The house is beautiful and has everything you need to enjoy time away from home. Don’t miss the hikes on the property. One of the highlights of our whole trip was hiking down to the river and enjoying the water. We also appreciated soaking in the hot tub when we were done with our hikes. I wouldn’t hesitate to book here again.

Maryana’s place was perfect! It matched the photos and description perfectly. The beds (even the couch — though we didn’t use the pullout) were SO comfortable! The towels were amazingly soft, the water was hot, and the kitchen was so stocked and easy to use. It was clean and cozy, and we would come back to stay any time. Maryana and her co-hosts were very communicative, which we appreciated.

The cabin was very clean and comfortably fit the four of us! I was pleasantly surprised when showing up because it was much nicer than the pics showed! We will be back and are super thankful for the memory my family has of our time there!

Harmony house was fantastic! We had a great time exploring the national park just a stones throw away (literally). Laura went the extra mile and got me a cookie cake for my birthday which made the experience unforgettable. Would highly recommend.

This is the second property we've stayed at hosted by Elizabeth. Elizabeth is an excellent host- she is very responsive to all queries and requests and her homes are immaculately clean and welcoming when you arrive. The Oak Hill property is located in a residential neighborhood. We found it to be very quiet and had no issues with dogs barking (as other reviewers mentioned). The home is beautifully decorated and the kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed to prepare a Thanksgiving dinner. The beds are firm and comfortable, as are the linens. We would not hesitate to stay here again.

Thank you so much, Autumn! We had the best time in your cute cabin for our family Christmas vacation. You were so helpful and kind. I would recommend this cabin to anyone who wants a home away from home feel with excellent hosts. If we’re ever back in WV we would definitely stay again.

This is the perfect spot for a bachelor party weekend. We came out to do some white water rafting, so the location was perfect. The pool, hot tub, outdoor grill setup is top notch. Our only criticism is that the kitchen is a bit of a wreck with a ton of water leaking out of the fridge and a heck of a lot of mold growing under the sink. That doesn't bother 9 guys on a rafting trip, though. Absolutely would come back!

We enjoyed our stay at Craigs, it is well-maintained, clean and easy to find. We enjoyed the bedding and seating which is rare at AirBNB to find a half decent mattress. Craig was responsive and friendly. Thanks for a great visit!

Holly’s place was very cool! I loved the looks of the stone inside the house and all the decorations and West Virginia info! The upstairs bedroom area was spacious and bed was comfortable! I would definitely stay here again!

We traveled to the area to explore New River Gorge. Easy access to the park. Traveled with my elderly parents and the accessibility features were perfect. Easy to get them in and out with their walkers. Relaxing space and quiet street. It was perfect for us! My Dad mentioned they were the most responsive hosts we have ever had at an airbnb.

April was an excellent host, very responsive. This home is cozy and clean. It’s very spacious too. It’s in a beautiful country setting complete with a family of deer behind the house. You should stay here!

Beautiful place to stay and would definitely recommend! I’ve already mentioned it to a few friends. Super clean and homey. We grilled out several times and ate meals on the back deck. Gorgeous surroundings and very peaceful! We ended up doing the endless walk trial and long point trail on one day which are both closer to the Airbnb and then another day we took about a 45 min drive south to the grandview area and did the grandview rim trail. We also drove down to the river under the bridge. The canyon rim visitor center is a close place to stop for maps and info. Overall great trip and Airbnb!

Crooked and cozy on the cliff

I am very particular about where I stay. We would definitely stay here again. This is a very old home with a lot of character. It was truly like staying at a friends house. Very cozy. There are 3 bedrooms and a comfy couch. The kitchen was easy to cook in. The bathroom and kitchen were very clean. The linens and towels are not brand new, which was a bonus because they were super soft and comfy. They were all clean and fresh and smelled wonderful. The beds and couch were very comfortable. The kids enjoyed the Wii U. Karen was more than helpful and was super attentive and happy to help us with anything we needed. I was concerned that with it being a pet friendly rental that it would smell like dogs but it definitely did not. The trains do come by often. If you wear ear plugs they won't bother you at all. Honestly we enjoyed them. They are close enough to see and hear but not so loud that they hurt your ears. Our kids and family definitely recommend this rental.
