Mount Hotham: soggiorni in chalet

We had a wonderful stay at Catherine's beautiful chalet! The cozy, vintage-style three-story building is located in a charming snow village, and it felt like a perfect winter getaway. Catherine was fantastic, keeping us updated on the weather and local surroundings, and her quick responses were much appreciated. Rory was also incredibly helpful, providing detailed instructions on the best roads, snow conditions, diesel fill-up, and local food options. The location is perfect, with frequent buses to Mt. Hotham just a short distance away. Thank you both for a memorable stay—we can't wait to come back!

Sam was very responsive and provided excellent instructions before our stay. The house fit the online description to perfection and the surrounding scenery will impress anyone fortunate enough to book Watson's. Between six of us, there was plenty of room and it was extremely affordable. We were here for a weekend of trout fishing and the location was perfect. An entry point to the Delatite River is just a short walk to the house where we saw fish and landed a good rainbow. We fished about a 4km stretch of the river over the weekend for about 6 trout and plenty of hook-ups that ended with fish spitting the hook before they could be landed. For wildlife enthusiasts, plenty of kangaroos, deer and birdlife will keep you entertained. Will definitely consider booking again for another fishing weekend.

We spent 3 nights at Red Earth Lodge and it was spectacular. For us it was the perfect location being just out of town and right at the base of Mount Buffalo. We were lucky enough to encounter plenty of wildlife on the property including the resident wombat, and an endangered greater glider. The cabin itself is impressive, and the wood fire was a lovely touch. We can’t wait to visit again sometime!

Another amazing stay. If you’re in doubt about the snow conditions, this is the perfect place because it’s an experience in itself!

John and Anne's property is beautiful with an abundance of birds. We felt much happier staying in Harrietville over Bright and the bigger towns in the area. A fantastic base to head off and explore the Alpine.

Marty’s property was exactly as listed. It met our needs perfectly. Walking distance to all local amenities but still being a quiet and peaceful location. Would definitely stay again.

Nine of us had a brief one night stay at Alpzview. The location is great and, we enjoyed the stunning mountain views in dusk and down. It offers plenty of space and amenities for a large group to enjoy a relaxing holiday. The place is clean and tidy. Hosts are very organised and responsive. You may find downstairs is little bit hotter during summer as the central air conditioner works only for the upstairs. All the bedrooms are upstairs, worth noting that especially if someone in your group has any mobility requirements. Some minor renovations and upgrades would be really beneficial to further uplift this gorgeous place. We would love to have an extended stay at Alpzview sometime in future.

Great roomy accommodation that catered to our needs easily. Plenty of bathrooms available and rooms were of good size. Definitely perfect for our weekend with a large group. David was an easy to get along with host and is ready to help any step of the way. will definitely be top of our list for next visit in the area where larger gatherings are needed

The view of the mountains with the sun rising over it is a fantastic way to wake up. Throughly enjoyed the quiet joy of a cup of tea on the deck among the trees with that view each morning.
