One of a Kind Apartment with Landmark Views

Look out at Hallgrímskirkja just outside the picture windows with volcanic mountain ranges in the distance. This renovated Icelandic home is filled with comforts, artisanal touches, books, and local art—all a warm welcome after a day of sightseeing. Guests staying in the flat have a fully equipped kitchen, including dishwasher, microwave, stove, and oven, and a spacious living area with artisanal dining table and Danish design couch, in addition to a quiet bedroom and wonderful shower with optimal water pressure. Other amenities include Wi-fi television with complementary Netflix access, high-speed Wi-fi, and washing-machine use. There is also free parking on the street in front of the apartment, and by Hallgrímskirkja. The apartment is ideal for a couple or solo traveller seeking a cozy, private space to get great sleep in support of Icelandic adventures. It is also suitable for longer-stay guests who desire a central home to support work in the city. Due to the walk-up staircase, the apartment is unfortunately not wheelchair accessible. Previously, Canada's national newspaper The Globe and Mail asked Angela's exclusive assistance in recommending travel destinations within Reykjavík. Additionally, our backgrounds in literature, Icelandic, performing arts, environmental ethics, and education make for neat conversation with our fellow visitors. Cross the street to Hallgrimskirkja and take a few steps more to Laugavegur, the main street with cafes, restaurants, bars, galleries, and shops. It's ten minutes on foot to Harpa, the National Theater, the National Gallery, and other attractions. A five-minute walk takes you to Sundhöllin, the oldest swimming pool in Reykjavik; it has an indoor pool with outdoor thermal pools and a sauna - worth a visit. When arriving in the city by bus from Keflavík Airport (recommended, at 20 USD per head), you would find yourself at the central bus station (BSÍ), which is a ten-minute walk to the apartment, or a few minutes by taxi. Most buses from the airport will, if asked, drop you off at Hallgrímskirkja, Hótel Leifur Eiríksson, or Café Loki, all within a minute´s walk from the apartment. Buses returning from sight-seeing tours, Northern lights tours and such, will usually have their drop-off points at Hallgrímskirkja across the street, or at Einar Jónsson Art Museum, an arm's length away from the apartment. Hotels in the area, some within a minute's walk, have easy pick-up for those leaving for the airport. Apartment is officially registered at the City council of Reykjavík, as specified by local laws. Modern apartment 10-15 min from downtown Reykjavík

A mountain-view one-bedroom apartment in the outskirts of Reykjavik and just a 10-15 minute drive to downtown. The apartment consists of a single bedroom, a spacious bathroom with a bath/shower, a comfortably large living room, open kitchen, dining area and balcony. You will also have access to a laundry room and a two person air mattress that can be situated in the living room. The surrounding area is quiet and peaceful, allowing you the option to feel closer to nature by partaking in outdoor activities (or just a lovely stroll!). Activities include hiking, ATV/Buggy tours, or swimming in the local Lágafell pool. For those interested in taking day trips outside of the city, the apartment is also a short distance from the highway. Travel by car/taxi is preferable, but public transport is also possible. Upon your arrival, I would be happy to share local information about places to visit, grocery stores, great places to eat and more.

Cosy appartment in a quiet neighborhood in Mosfellsbær. Many great walking trail and hike. Short from great nature and green area. Lágafellslaug is very popular swimmingpool its so nice to relax in a hot tip. Short from golfcourse by the sea side. Grocery store 900 meters away. One the best bakery in Iceland is also 900 meters away. Center of Reykjavík is 11 km away, you can take bus to Reykjavík no 15, it stops 2 min walk from us. Thingvellir National Park is ca. 30 min drive from Mosfellsbær.

This family-friendly apartment in the capital area is just 30-40 minutes from the start of the Golden Circle. It offers free parking. The apartment is next to grocery stores and a bakery. Depending on traffic, driving towards Reykjavik City Center will take 15-20 minutes. Each bedroom has comfortable bed, sizes 180* 200, 120* 200, and 120* 200 cm. Lovely, little apartment on the seafront in a peaceful neighborhood a 15-minute drive from downtown Reykjavik. Perfect base near the highways to the primary tourist locations such as Thingvellir, Gullfoss, Geysir and the South Coast with the waterfalls, glaciers etc. Comfy one mattress bed (160x200cm=63x79in), tiny new bathroom, a kitchenette to make simple meals in the living room as well as a TV with Netflix. Nice apartment located 10 km from downtown Reykjavík with a free parking.. Swimming pool near by, grocery shops, gas station and good walking trails by the sea with a view over Viðey. Museum and galleries near by also. The apartment is on a fifth floor and in the building are 38 apartments with all kinds of neighbors so this is not a party house. I meet my guests to let them have the key.
