Cozy Farmhouse Cottage

Pure western Kansas ! Right off highway 24. This home was built in 1900. Vintage reminders throughout this cozy farm style home of a simpler time. A kitchen to please any cook! Feel those summer vibes on the front porch morning and evening. Farm fresh eggs provided in refrigerator! A touch of western lore, located midway between Denver and Kansas City and situated on the Solomon river valley. This house is stocked with amenities Grocery and local beef 2 blocks away. 3 TV’s, WIFI, Roku.

The Parsonage 1873 - No Fees!

Make your trip unforgettable! Step back into the Wild West, the early days of Hays City! One of the oldest homes still standing from the early days of Hays, built in 1873. This two bedroom, two bath, has been renovated to reflect the rough and tumble, primitive days in Hays City. With modern amenities such as, but not limited to, heated floors, air conditioning, walk in showers, a large antique soaking tub, coffee, king and queen beds. Historic photos and books make for an interesting stay!

The Roost

1930's Limestone chicken house converted to a cabin. 1/4 mile off a paved highway. Interior space is 46 feet x 11 feet, with sloping ceiling. Tiled shower with built in seat.(No tub.) Fully appointed kitchen. Beautiful views of the Smoky Hills. Several acres of native grassland with running stream to explore. Deer, turkey, bird watching, and other wildlife. If you are going walking, wear appropriate footwear. See the stars without city lights and enjoy the unbelievable quiet.

Smith's Horse Barn

Our little remolded barn is a 100 years old and was used for the horses. We had to choose between tearing it down or totally renovating it. My husband, Laurel did not want the barn destroyed and so the great adventure of restoring a barn began. It has taken 3 years and a lot of very hard work, but we are ready for guests! The Horse Barn has a full kitchen, bathroom, and living room on the main floor. A spiral staircase takes you to the old hay loft which is now the bedroom.

The Trinity House

Beautiful home (3 bedroom, 3 bath) on a nice cul-de-sac in quiet neighborhood. Just 1 mile off of I70 and walking distance of Aubel Bickel park. Fenced in backyard with play-set. Garage and driveway parking available. Free wifi and Roku TVs. Super comfortable beds! King in master bedroom, Guest bedroom has twin with trundle. Queen bed in downstairs bedroom. Two large sectional couches. Early check in or late check out for $20/hr (if we can accommodate). Sorry no pets.

Grandma's House

Grandma's House. Entire house is available; Three bedroom house; 4 Queen size beds. Fully functional kitchen, BBQ grill available as well. House located in the heart of Pheasant Hunting Country! We do allow dogs, but ask they not stay in bedrooms. TV, DVD, WIFI, Roku available. NEW HEATING AND AIR INSTALLED spring 2023 Morland is a sleepy and relaxing little town, there is The Office (bar), and Morland Mercantile.

Walnut Drive House

Relax and put your feet up in this whole-house rental located in western Kansas. Small town living with full amenities, this house will suit your short or long stay needs. Located in a quiet residential neighborhood. Fresh, homemade cookies and baked goods await your arrival. Our historic 1906 Cottage Garden guest house is located on I-70 half-way between Kansas City & Denver, Colorado in WaKeeney, KS. Stroll across the brick street to the adjacent park which surrounds the historic native limestone courthouse. Attractions include: The Smoky Valley Scenic Byway, The Christmas City of the High Plains, Shiloh Vineyard and Winery, Cedar Bluff Reservoir, and Castle Rock.
