Braeburn at The Appleton Retreat is down a 1/2 mile driveway, on 120 acres of private land, bordered by a 1,300 acre Nature Conservancy reserve. A 25 minute trail leads to a large secluded pond, perfect for a refreshing swim. Braeburn feels like a treehouse, with expansive windows, overlooking woods and wildlife. After a hike, grilling on the porch or dinner out, indulge in your private therapeutic year round hot tub.

Walking trails connect the cabin to our farm next door, where you can visit with our horses, donkeys, goats, chickens, and ducks. Enjoy this beautiful lakefront cottage on pristine Lake St. George with amazing sunrises. The home is year round and heated. Less than a mile from Lake St. George Brewing Company, John’s Ice Cream, and Lori’s Café, the state park and boat launch is also less than three miles away. First floor has 1 bedroom (queen bed), a full bathroom, full kitchen with all essentials, and utility room with a washer and a dryer. The second floor has a half bath and three bedrooms (king, and two queen beds).

Welcome to our new building. "A Room With a Brew" is located above Belfast's newest craft brewery, Frosty Bottom Brewing. A small community supported brewery open 2 days/week for 3-4 hours for beer share members. Guests can request a tour of the brewery and sample some fresh beer. Owners live in downtown Belfast and are available should any issues arise during your stay. The apartment/brewery is located 3 miles from downtown on a quiet road that offers local hiking and biking.
