Montpon-Ménestérol: soggiorni in cottage

Très bon séjour dans ce logement et cet environnement paisible. Nico a été réactif et accueillant. Nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir.

Almost don’t want to say how lovely, as will make it more competitive to book to go back! In a word - glorious! - The gite, gardens and grounds and pool are kept beautifully. Gite was spotless and very well equipped (including lots of goodies on arrival, garden games to use there - kids were very happy - charcoal ready for the bbq etc), huge comfortable beds, and wood fired hot tub to sit and look at the stars. - Stunning surrounding views (endless fields of sunflowers) and lovely shady woods to be walk. - Lots of pretty villages - particularly Aubeterre with its central square and river beach worth the short drive (under 20 mins). We also loved the big river beach at St Aulaye (c.40 mins). - Meg and Mark are kind, fun and knowledgeable hosts who were perfect balance of around and incredibly helpful - but very much left us to just relax and enjoy the gite/pool as our own. - Shopping v easy at local supermarkets, various markets and nearby village shop/butchers. Thank you!!

Absolutely lovely location, just like described and in the photos.There was the two of us and a dog and we all loved our 10 nights at ‘Le Petite Grange’.There is everything you need for a great time, super little pool, ample big enough ,nice decking area and veranda, the views are just stunning.We used the bbq two nights and just sat and enjoyed the peace and tranquillity.A 5 minute walk to the village of Monpazier with its very nice square or our favourite bar ‘Biere de la Bastide’ with their locally brewed ales and great burgers. Ideally location for visiting other local towns and villages which we did plenty of. All in all a wonderful holiday, even the rain in the last couple of days did not put a dampener on things. The host Steve was very quick at getting back to us when we had questions and Phil who looked after the pool was very friendly and shared great advice on things to do and places to visit.

je crois n'avoir jamais loué un logement aussi propre et quel plaisir ! La maison est conforme à la description et encore mieux que sur les photos. L'équipement de la cuisine est au top. Nous nous sommes sentis comme chez nous et cela n'est pas facile ! Maison au calme mais les commerces sont à 5 minutes en voiture. Nous avons trouvé le jacuzzi agreable pour passer le nouvelle année. Merci à Pauline pour sa disponibilité et son accueil. Sejour en famille reposant et ressourçant. A refaire en été pour cette fois-ci profiter de la piscine.

Gîte très agréable, propre et très calme. Bonne communication avec Arnaud qui a su rapidement lever notre stress à l'arrivée. Dans le logement, tout est mis en place pour que l'on se sente tout de suite très à l'aise. Seul point moins positif, les toilettes qui ne sont pas fermés, ce qui peut être gênant. Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour malgré le mauvais temps.

Excellent séjour dans ce domaine incroyable avec une vue magnifique, un calme apaisant et de nombreuses activités possibles. Nos deux chiens ont été accueillis avec plaisir et ont été les plus heureux avec tout ce terrain loin des routes. Les hôtes ont été très accueillants et très agréables. Les instructions étaient claires. Nous recommandons ce lieu!!

Nous étions deux couples pour partager cette charmante maison de campagne. Malgré la pluie et la température fraîche, nous avons pu relaxer dans un intérieur confortable et bien réchauffé par le poêle au bois. En plus de bénéficier d'une vue à couper le souffle sur le village, le spectacle des animaux déambulant librement dans leurs espaces respectifs était des plus enchanteur. Sofie et Irm sont des hôtes accueillantes ayant le souci de notre confort. Un merci particulier pour nous avoir offert les oeufs de leurs poules !

Le gîte est génial pour nous qui y venions avec un couple d'amis. Chaque famille avait son gîte et on pouvait se retrouver entre amis sur les différentes terrasses. L'emplacement est idéal pour du calme et du repos loin du quotidien. Le gite est propre, bien agencé et parfaitement équipé. Je recommande chaudement !

Suzon was the most amazing friendly host. She welcomed us into her home and made our stay very enjoyable. The gite was perfect for us, equipped kitchen, comfortable and outdoor cooking facilities. Lovely pool area. Nice and quiet. Beautiful walks. We were invited to a wine tasting evening and Suzon was a fantastic host and cooked the most beautiful ‘French tapas’! Great stay, thank you.

What a find! We loved our stay at La Periyére. The setting is incredibly charming, and hosts were exceptionally kind and generous. Fresh milk, eggs, butter, and bubbly for our arrival. Can’t wait to return.

Super week-end chez Fanny et Nicolas. La maison est géniale et si paisible qu’on aimerait y rester quelques semaines histoire de se ressourcer. Plein d’activités disponibles, un immense terrain avec de beaux animaux autour. Bref juste parfait. Sinon les hôtes sont super réactifs, la maison est propre et très fonctionnelle. Rien à dire nous y retournerons

Nous avons pu passer un week-end en famille dans un moulin qui a correspondu à notre attente malgré un temps exceptionnellement pluvieux pour la saison . Le confort et l'espace intérieur généreux ont pu remplacer l'absence de soleil . Les chambres et salles de bain sont très confortables . Seule la cuisine parait un peu juste pour une quinzaine de personnes , surtout par mauvais temps ,mais la présence des 2 grands réfrigérateurs a été appréciée . Ce fut un beau moment . Monique G

Nos hôtes ont été très accueillant et ils ont même pris soin de nous préparer une carte avec les différents sites touristiques à proximité. Le logement était très bien, effectivement l'échelle de meunier est assez raide et le premier étage est très mansardée surtout la salle de bain. ce fût un agréable séjour.

malgré un temps maussade ,nous avons passé un très bon séjour dans la maison de joel ,maison très propre ,accueillante ,bien équipée et des informations claires et précises et située pas très loin des sites touristiques a recommander!

Merci pour cet agréable séjour dans une région riche en découvertes. Le logement était parfait, très agréable malgré la canicule. Nous avons pu profiter et de la fraîcheur de la maison et de l’extérieur avec cette terrasse parfaitement protégée par un magnifique arbre et offrant une superbe vue sur la campagne environnante. « Calme » fût le maître mot de notre séjour Merci ! ☺️

Our family of 6 and our dog stayed at Le Fournet Bas for one week. The place looks even better in real life than it did in the photos - rustic charm with modern facilities. The bedrooms worked really well — boys in the twin, girls in the double and we had the “old bread oven” annex. The saltwater pool was delightful, clean and well-maintained. The barbecue area was excellent and well-used throughout our week. We would recommend renting electric bikes from the nearby FatVelo - a great way to spend a morning/day. Also Chateau de Bonaguil is very close and well worth a visit. Nearby St-Martin-le-Redon is a beautiful little village, and Puy L’Évêque is also well worth a visit. Christine and Gérard were very welcoming and helpful and resolved any little questions quickly and without any fuss. All-in-all, a fantastic place to spend a relaxing week.

We hebben een heerlijke week gehad op La Tuilerie Grange. David en Caroline zorgden voor een warm welkom. De foto’s op de site zijn al prachtig, maar als je het landgoed met de tuinen, de terrassen en het zwembad in werkelijkheid ziet is het in één woord fantastisch. Zeer de moeite waard om het zelf te ervaren. Ali en Wim, Ellis en David.

This is a really lovely cottage in amongst the vines, and a wonderful pool, terrace, bbq... It was extremely hot for the first few days (over 38 degrees) and although the cottage wasn't air-conditioned, it was cool and there were plenty of fans. Emma was extremely helpful and suggested lots of local restaurants and activities which were all great. The cottage was well supplied with everything we needed - good for cooking, and I read from (and donated to) the great little library of books provided. The unexpected bonus was that her TV could access UK BBC live and we watched a LOT of the Olympics with UK commentary! Such a lovely holiday, thank you.

Le séjour chez Olivier et Bosmat était parfait ! Olivier est un hôte très réactif, toujours disponible et très amicale, et aussi de très bon conseil. Le logement correspond tout à fait aux photos. L’environnement est très paisible, au milieu des vignes avec la piscine qui est un plus. Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour.

The Cottage is very nice. All was very clean and in good condition. The kitchen is also very faboulus, it has all what you need for cooking. We had a good time to slow down. We can Balbina and Didier with this nice place higly recommend .

From the start to the finish staying at Petit Veau was just wonderful. We wanted a spacious and private location to visit for our holiday and this was it. Charmaine was really helpful throughout and nothing felt like a bother. The cottage was delightful, charmingly decorated and wonderful to stay in. We wanted to bring our dog and was pleased to discover, as Charmaine had promised, that the large garden and outside space was completely fenced in and so our dog could roam freely and we could relax. The facilities were fabulous and way more than we needed but we did enjoy the pool, the kitchen & BBQ as well as long long evenings on the terrace looking out at an amazing view. I would recommend this cottage without reservation.

Nous avons passé un semaine très agréable dans la maison de Linda et Tim (très bien décorée, très chaleureuse), un logement très propre, bien équipé (tout le confort), environnement superbe et calme. L’espace extérieur très bien aménagé tout le matériel (transats, coussins, table, barbecue… et la piscine)aucun vis à vis. Le plus : 2 places de parking. Nous remercions Linda et Tim pour leur accueil et leur gentillesse. Pour découvrir cette belle région nous vous recommandons d’aller chez Linda et Tim.

super séjour au calme avec de nombreuses activités proposées sur place, convivial et familial, de jolies balades à prévoir : randonnées pédestres, canoë, plages et lacs à visiter. proche bordeaux. les hôtes sont très agréables, discrets et accueillants. je recommande !
