Nearby enjoy many wineries, Knoebels Amusement Resort, Rails to Trails, state parks, mall, shopping, historic museums, etc.

This Farmhouse has been in our family for 5 generations! We have photos from days gone by of many family gatherings here. We want to continue that! We’ve updated & remodeled over the past 5 years & continue to do improvements. We do not offer luxury accommodations. I love thrifting, so you will find our house very eclectic. We are all about families enjoying their time together in a fun friendly environment! One of our guests called it a “kids paradise”, so now we are using that in our name!

Get away from it all when you stay under the stars at Moon Shine Boondocks. This 4 acre recreational hideaway has plenty of space for your outdoor entertainment needs. With over 400’ of riverfront and 2 docks, boating, fishing, swimming and kayaking could not be more convenient. Enjoy the rope swing, tire swing, hammock, volleyball, pavilion, picnic tables, grill, fire pit, tiki bar, cornhole, etc. There are 2 locations for camper water/power hook ups and plenty of room for tents!

We live only around 2 minutes away in case you find yourselves in need of anything during your stay. Come enjoy a relaxing country getaway.

Large Playground outside with plenty of swings and slides. Outdoor fire pit/grill with picnic tables, umbrellas, and lawn chairs. Wood and lighter fluid provided.

Our cottage is strategically located only 5 miles from the world famous Knoebel's Amusement Resort and Geisinger Medical Center. We are also only a short drive from Rickett's Glen State Park.

Fishing, nature trails to walk, kayaks & canoes to rent. About 40 minutes from Knoebels Amusement Park where it is free to enter & just buy tickets for rides.
