Green Habitat is a lush green oasis located between two private reserves, Monteverde Wildlife Refuge and Finca Santamarias (Protected Areas) which means we are situated in a biological corridor, where there is a lot of wildlife and native species of flora and fauna . Our place is only 2 kilometers or 5 minutes drive away from downtown Monteverde with close proximity to restaurants, grocery stores, monteverde brewing company, souvenir shops, drugstores, bars and other tourist attractions.

Oct 25: We have just completed a full remodel of this lovely house. It now has two bedrooms, full bath, kitchen, deck, and laundry room all on one level and with wide doors to make it wheelchair friendly. My mother built this as her retirement house. She wanted a cozy, comfortable, house with a beautiful view. Wood floors, fireplace with firewood provided for the chilly Monteverde nights, beautiful windows so that you are looking down on the tops of the trees in the river gorge.
