Montecito: soggiorni in cottage

We really enjoyed our stay at Dana's cottage. It was very clean and comfortable with a kichen that had everything we needed to cook great meals. The neighbors were friendly and it was in a great location for enjoing all Ventura and the surrounding area has to offer!

This place is truly magical! The location was great, nestled in nature with beautiful surroundings that make you feel fully immersed in the outdoors and yet it's fairly close to the bustling/fun town of Santa Barbra. Waking up to the sound of birds singing in the morning was so peaceful and the fresh farm eggs were the perfect touch! The outdoor shower was definitely a highlight, the warm water made it feel like a luxury. We couldn't have asked for a better place to unwind and relax. Jennifer was also extremely kind and accommodating, always checking-in to ensure we had everything we needed. 10/10 recommend, we will definitely be coming back!

Ivan’s place was great! The cottage is very comfortable, private and has everything we needed. Great location and the hot tub made our stay even more relaxing. Would definitely stay there again!

Such an adorable cottage! Well appointed, great attention to detail, really lovely accessories and plants and furniture. Extremely comfortable bed. Nice bathroom with double sinks. Very peaceful for the most part. We really enjoyed our visit and they even offered us to take some lemons and mandarins off their trees. We will definitely be back.

Alan’s place is really great with its proximity to downtown Santa Barbara and all the fun restaurants and activities. Alan was a great host. The beds are comfortable and you have everything you need. I will look to book here again on the next visit to Santa Barbara.

What a peaceful place tucked in a quiet hilltop full of nature surroundings. Absolutely no traffic/people noise and lots darkness with an incredible view when the fog rolls away. It blew our minds! A perfect base of operations for a week stay with all we needed and the host right next door (over a private gate) which was helpful when we had a few needs that he responded quickly and kindly. We were impressed how close we were to things even though it felt like we were far, far away. We cannot wait to stay there again! Note to those that drive a Tesla, do NOT use the car gps/maps. It won’t get you there in a direct route. Use Google maps. Plan at least one evening to enjoy the night sky from the hot tub and deck with fire table and grill. It’s not to be missed.

We enjoyed our stay very much. Carla is the embodiment of a “super host.” Great communication, very accommodating, and very responsive. We decided to stay an extra week and Carla helped us make the correct arrangements and a smooth transition. Carla’s Cottages is a special place. Highly recommended!

Jonah is responsive and reliant, and I’m so glad to have booked his gem of a home! I highly recommend all of his listings as he is usually nearby and always willing to help. I stayed in the retreat/cottage and it was great! It is just minutes away from Solvang (about 6 miles) which was a plus. Highly recommend staying here if you’re looking for a peaceful and beautiful getaway.

George’s place was the perfect beach getaway! The house was spotlessly clean, comfortable, and had everything I needed. The location can't be beat - just a short walk to the beach made it so convenient to enjoy the sand and surf. The host was welcoming and check-in was a breeze. I had a wonderful experience and would absolutely recommend this rental to anyone looking for an amazing beach vacation. Five stars all the way!

Overall we had a great stay at this property. It is private and quiet, within walking distance of Summerland town strip and is just a short drive to state street. I encourage renting Gillian’s room to anyone looking for an affordable stay in summerland! The dog bed was a nice touch for our dog as well!

This was an amazing stay for my wife and I's honeymoon. Not only is it a 10 minute walk to the beach, but has quick and easy access to Santa Barbara and Ventura. Reina was kind, helpful, and was always available if we had any questions!

Close to downtown Solvang, as we needed. Instructions were clear to find. Was a little chilly at night, we didn’t use the heaters provided. But plenty of blankets on the bed for warmth. You will get nice light in the morning and day, as the curtains are a lighter color. But was not overbearing. Rustic feeling in the cottage, so if you are more of a hotel type of person, might not be your style. I loved the ambiance. Was just enough of what I needed for a quick stay. There is another cottage across from you and you will hear talking or noise, so also keep that in mind. Our neighbors were fine, so did not bother me. Thank you for the stay! Great olive and lavender farm down the road ! Lots of wineries!

My husband and I had the pleasure of staying a few days at Melissa's cottage home. What a perfect place! We felt so comfortable and safe, and little details really added to our visit. I loved how she placed cozy blankets on the porch chairs as well as a thick one by the fireplace heater, where you could sit for a cup of tea and prop your feet up. The bed was so comfortable and warm! She added plants and beautiful art on the walls that really brought life to the space. The kitchen was very clean, with a nice refrigerator and freezer. She had just enough of kitchen gadgets, not too overcrowded with extra stuff. just useful tools. Even though I brought my own tea, I liked how there was a variety there to sample. I ended up leaving one from my own collection that is my favorite for the next guest to enjoy. If you get a chance to be a guest at this sweet place, take it! I found it very peaceful and comfortable!

This place was very cute and met our needs for our time in the area. We had an unexpected departure and the host was gracious and flexible. We appreciated that this location was so close to the beach and also some really cute places to eat. The unit is nestled into the trees and is very quiet. The unit was also clean upon arrival and we didn't have any issues during our time there. We would love to return another day!

Absolutely loved our stay in Darren’s home. The house was clean and had everything we needed for a quick weekend trip. The backyard is also spacious and perfect for any pup! We also loved the community and that the house was walking distance to the town of Montecito!

What a great spot! There is a lot to do within walking distance but there are a lot of stairs to get to the main thoroughfare. The cottage was super cozy for a tiny house. The kitchen had amenities for the first morning which was helpful after a day of travel. We wished we had more time to spend there but there was so much to do in Ventura.

We felt right at home for our mother daughter trip. Location is perfect for touring the town. Beds were very comfortable and we had great nights of sleep. Very quiet neighborhood. We felt safe and cozy! We didn’t want to leave!

Exceptionally clean cottage with a well stocked and outfitted kitchen. Vicky is a terrific host and we hope to return to this property one day soon. I highly recommend this place.

Hector’s place was very comfortable! It had a great kitchen and bathroom. In a great area, walkable and felt very safe. I would recommend Hector’s place if you are visiting Santa Barbara.

One of our favorite Airbnbs. We return every year because our kiddos love it so much! Great location, great hosts, truly an Airbnb that gets back to the core what it was once all about. Highly recommend!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Breanna's guest house. It was impeccably clean, accommodating, and comfortable. I highly recommend this rental for a stay in the Santa Barbara wine country area. One consideration is the softness of the bed. If you prefer a soft mattress, you are in luck. I sleep on a mattress as firm as a concrete slab at home so I found the bed a bit uncomfortable. No complaints, though, and staying in this rental for a weekend of relaxation is highly recommended!

This might have been my favorite Airbnb. The space was so lovely and peaceful, very private. The deck was perfect for enjoying food and drinks and fresh air. The space was decorated beautifully and had all the amenities we needed. Summerland is an adorable sweet town, perfect location to everything but feels like you are away from it all in the best way possible. Adorable shops and great food. Ian and Whitney were amazing hosts! Super responsive, great recommendations and they even let my 5 year old come over to meet their parrot 🦜, Shandi, since we could hear her sweet whistles and he wanted to meet her so badly! It was a highlight of the trip for him. 10/10! Will be back!

My mother and I stayed here with her doggy, and we were very comfortable. Ian‘s place is just as described with an amazing view really easy access to the freeway as well as an alternate route through Montecito so we had no problems getting anywhere. Little downtown Summerland is Quaint and a fun walk with good eats, shops, and coffee. Part of our visit was going on lots of beach walks and we were right between all the great beaches from Rincon out to Goleta. We did not make use of the patio. We were out and about quite a bit. Would definitely stay here again. Ian is also a very friendly and responsive host.

Jennifer was simply amazing! So responsive, communicative, understanding, kind, accommodating and genuine. Beautiful property which was so accurate to the photos, perfect location, easy instructions and loads of helpful information. The energy at fantastical cottage was so beautiful, it was the perfect getaway.
