Experience world renowned wineries and the picturesque Sonoma County coastline, all within a 1/2 hour drive. Or, simply relax on the spacious back deck admiring the redwoods with a glass of wine or lounge in the soothing hot tub.

Lucky Bend Lookout—Kid friendly, in a quiet redwood forest, and just 1 mile from Downtown Guerneville. 3 bedrooms and 1 bath home with 2 queen beds, a twin bunk bed, and queen size sofa bed. Floating dock with canoe, kayaks and standup paddle board available in the summer season. Forest Cozy Home

My house in Forestville is a walk to the river (Steelhead County Beach), near endless wineries, canoe rentals, gorgeous Sonoma coast beaches, Santa Rosa airport, a bicycle trail through West County with bike rentals in downtown Forestville offering immediate access to the trail, and a very well-stocked little grocery store a 5-minute walk down the hill. Lovely back roads take you to Healdsburg to the north or Sebastopol to the south. My dog & I stay in a basement studio when guests are here.

The dock & steps to the river, as with most homes on the river, are available subject to river flow. This usually requires they be removed in October - April/early May, when flow increases. Haven in the Woods is a short drive from wine tasting rooms and a MacKenzie Northwood Golf Club. Note: Must climb stairs to the house and we do not have a TV (though have strong internet).
