Monte Rio: soggiorni in baite

I was in search of a peaceful relaxing experience and this was it. The solarium dining area is such a good zone for breakfast, journaling, friend chats. Love the cool decor, coffee-tea service and the gift of farm fresh eggs. The hot tub was elevated in the forest in an amazing way, we loved the views. We spent a lot of time soaking, and would say this was definitely a highlight of our stay. If you are not sure-footed, this may not be the place for you to descend to the hot tub. Fortunately it was not a problem for us. We did not need extra temp control for the first week of May. Pleasant and comfortable. Garden areas are lovely and well landscaped. A very friendly neighborhood. Overall, a great experience.

Beautiful cabin, even more stunning than the pictures suggest. Every detail was meticulously chosen to maximize our comfort. Looking forward to staying here many times in the future.

Chad’s place was perfect for a relaxing getaway. Easy to walk to places in town. The cabin is very thoughtfully appointed and the outdoor space is well designed. If you have downstairs too the staircase in the house is a little steep, but there is an outside one that is easier. The hot tub was perfect for evening stargazing!

Beautiful cabin for a family of 3. We felt right at home. Beds were sooooooo comfortable!! We all slept like we hadn’t in a while:) Sufficiently provided for, and very peaceful. The kitchen had everything we needed and no clutter at all. The bath was very clean and nicely done. Overall we had a great weekend and we would come back again. The place and the surroundings are amazing, so do explore. The locals are very friendly and welcoming, always happy to give recommendations.

Ryan & James place is a real gem. We had such a special, peaceful stay and enjoyed all the amenities, views and nearby hiking and beaches. You can hear the sound of the ocean waves from the beautiful deck. It was everything we wanted for our little romantic getaway. Thank you for sharing with us!

Staying at Genevieve’s treehouse in Cazadero was a deeply nostalgic experience that transported me back to my childhood days spent in treehouses in the province. Nestled amidst the majestic redwoods of Sonoma County, this unique retreat offered a serene escape from the hustle and bustle of city life. Waking up to the melodious songs of birds and witnessing the morning sun piercing through the fog, gradually unveiling the forest’s beauty, was truly enchanting. Sharing this tranquil haven with my friends and fiancé made the experience even more special. It was the perfect getaway to reconnect with nature and relive cherished memories. If you are looking for a peaceful getaway surrounded by trees, this is the place. The house is beautifully maintained and extremely cozy. The kitchen is well stocked and the bedrooms are super comfortable. The hot tub under the trees was just the icing on the cake. Tom was super informative and very friendly- just a great experience from beginning to end! Will definitely stay here again!

Megan’s cottage was absolutely perfect for a solo stay at the end of my California trip. It was the perfect way to wind down and have some alone time before heading back to Virginia. The cottage was spotless, the furniture and the bed were so comfortable, the views out of every window were magical (I even saw a deer right outside staring in through the kitchen window one morning), the decor and design couldn’t be more perfect, the shower had great pressure, the kitchen was well stocked with everything you may need to cook with, the birds are right at eye level when you sit on the porch since you’re up in the trees, beautiful puzzles, great selection of books. It was such a cozy way to end my trip. Thanks so much Megan!

Great location, nice spa and deck looking out to the river. Loved the "rustic" vibe. My husband and I were looking for a weekend getaway, and this was perfect!

The cabin is very quiet with great views. The wood stove is more than sufficient to keep the place warm just be sure to bring some kindling and some paper. There was also a nice list of suggested spots and a record player. Overal a lovely stay.

Sue’s place was absolutely wonderful. From the peaceful and private location to the thoughtful and kind hosts, I’d highly recommend staying here. Sue was quick to respond to anything we needed and always did so with such warmth. When we arrived, there was a wagon waiting to help us carry our things from the parking spot to the cottage—a super helpful touch that made the short walk easy, even with suitcases, bags, and groceries. The cottage is surrounded by beautiful trees and set in a lovely, quiet neighborhood that’s perfect for walks any time of day. Inside, the Airbnb was cozy, clean, and had everything we needed—from cookware to a great selection of spices. You can tell a lot of care went into making it feel like a true home away from home. We genuinely loved our stay and can’t wait to come back. Thank you, Sue and Jess, for such a memorable and amazing experience!

This is an amazing place to stay! First of all, 1/3 acre in Monte Rio, fully FENCED, and next to a CREEK, is rare. Our senior dog LOVED it! Lorri thought of everything. From the dog towel, to the instructions on how to start and operate the fire pit and grill. It was all so inviting. The house-book is a must-read. We were greeted with chocolate chip and walnut cookies which were wonderful to snack on after a nearly 4 hour drive. Sweet Creek is EXTREMELY pet friendly but you still have to be a responsible pet owner and pick up after your pets and the basic things like dry their feet off and drape any furniture with sheets if they lay down on them. The picture board of animals who've stayed there, and the wonderful binder full of thank you notes was just so touching. We felt like we were staying at a friends house, not airbnb. We can't say enough with the character count left. Sweet Creek is a must! We will RETURN!

Beautiful serine home amongst the redwoods. Couldn’t have asked for a better weekend getaway!

Really nice place, good location, house was very nice, had pretty much what I needed, it was clean and had a great outdoor area to just relax and enjoy the surroundings. Host was awesome too...great communication and ready to help if I needed it.

We absolutely loved our stay. I don't know if it's always like this but while we were there (early spring) the creek was full, everything was lush and green, and there were still many lady bugs around. While exploring in the yard our toddler met his first banana slug and red bellied newt. Inside, the house is cozy and spacious and we loved the warmth from the freestanding stove. The place is completely secluded and a true slice of paradise. We left with a real sense of gratitude for the hosts for sharing there home.

The perfect spot for a couples trip to Russian River! A beautiful and relaxing place to stay. We loved both the cabins.

Gf and I really enjoyed our stay. The home feels super cozy and secluded although there are homes nearby. The bed was very comfortable and the outdoor hot tub was perfect to relax in after hiking. The overall location was great to visit all the coastal trails and Armstrong park. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Cherie has done a great job with the Rio Nido Lodge! you can tell she has put in a lot of effort and the place really feels cozy, friendly, and low key. All the staff working there was extremely friendly and helped make us feel right at home! can't wait to visit again!

We really enjoyed our stay at this Airbnb. The location is fantastic—peaceful and scenic, with a lovely creek nearby that made for a relaxing and nature-filled experience. The property itself is beautiful and has a lot of charm, with great outdoor space to unwind. Inside, the place was clean and generally comfortable, but some of the furnishings and amenities could use a bit of updating to really bring it up to its full potential. A few modern touches or maintenance tweaks would go a long way. Overall, it’s a great spot if you’re looking to enjoy the outdoors in a serene setting, and we appreciated the peaceful atmosphere. We’d consider staying again!

We had a wonderful time. The hot tub was great, the creek was better. Had a great pizza at Raymond's bakery in Cazadero. One of Lendris recommendations. Also spent a day at Goatrock Beach with our dogs. The kids and dogs loved the creek. The creek is so close we could let the kids go without us. We could hear them from the cabin. The next door neighbor is a local and gave us a great history of the area. Overall we had a ball. Looking forward to next year! Thank you
