Beautiful mountain views from the property and direct access to 5100+ acres of BLM out of our back yard! Our neighborhood is quiet and will provide a perfect getaway. Everything is close by and is under a 30 min drive. The city of Helena, Great Divide Skiing, all kinds of lakes! No meals, but coffee and tea are provided.

Stoney Lonesome Retreat

Welcome to Stoney Lonesome Retreat. Why Stoney Lonesome? Not entirely sure, you can blame it on my great grandfather, old Fredrick Richard August Christian Uhde. He named the property back in 1972 and the name has stuck!!! My parents Elward and Susan purchased our property in the summer of 1969 for $500 and we have been here ever since. My brother and I were raised here and now my wife Gretchen and I are so proud to be raising our son Simon here. The third generation on this land.

Very close to Bohdi Farms or The Woodlands making a great place to stay for wedding guests. There is a 2 mile paved walking/bike trail right out the front or a nice stroll down a quiet dirt road.

The Historic Catholic Mission is just a stone throw to the South. The National Bison Range is just up the hill and to the North. Fully furnished apartment with complete kitchen and a great view up Rock Creek Canyon. This is a very private apartment separate from main house. Bathroom has toilet, shower and sink...private from the rest of the apartment. Property is directly on Rock Creek and includes WiFi and smart TV. Only 5 miles from Red Lodge. Queen bed in bedroom and the couch in living room is a queen hide-a-bed. My neighbor's bedroom is only 40 feet away, so I will not accept any loud motorcycles.
