We had a great time. The location and the town is very beautiful. Very responsive and friendly caretaker. It’s a cabin surrounded by nature, there are small insects, animals, like spiders and such. Always bring your own cleaning stuff if you want something extra clean! If you love nature, totally worth it!

Really enjoyed our return to Luke’s place. Loved being able to fish in the backyard and catch big Bass and Catfish. Had Canadian Geese and Ducks in the yard, Had 4 deer come through as well . Very nice and peaceful. Will return next time in Macon.

Best hidden retreat for a family looking to vacation in Georgia. I'm obsessed with this home!! We actually were evacuees from the Hurricane and stumbled upon this wonderful arbnb. it was on the side of the house but it felt like its own place entirely. the pool was beautiful the dogs had such a great time and the kids love the arcade and the pool table. there were two bedrooms each with a queen size bed in it and an awesome L-shaped couch for family cuddles and movie night. what a beautiful neighborhood and a great home plus the homeowners were incredible! They even understood that we needed to leave a day early,as we are First Responders trying to get home to relieve our colleagues at the hospital, and refunded a whole day! Thanks again for the incredible memories.

Our stay at this house was absolutely wonderful! The home was exactly as described,clean spacious, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay.

My husband stayed for the week while working out of town. Laurie and her husband were very welcoming. She is very responsive to calls and messages. There is a beautiful pool out back and its on a lake. My husband would highly recommend staying here.

Beautiful and spacious home! We were in town for a funeral and needed a place to crash. The home was so peaceful and calming and had everything we needed. I especially appreciated how accommodating it was for kids with the play room, pool table and foosball table. Would love to stay again!

We are very thankful to have stayed at Doug's place. We found the place with ease, it was clean and very spacious. The place had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. The yard was beautiful and very peaceful. It felt quiet and private! We had our children with us and Doug never complained of the kids being too loud, in fact he said he loved hearing their playful voices. Doug and his wife were very accommodating and always very quick to respond. Thank you for a great stay. Highly recommend it if you are staying in Macon.

This house is a great deal! The appliances were new and worked very well. The linens were luxurious. The kitchen was remarkably well supplied. I do a lot of baking and it was wonderful to have everything I needed. The hot water was terrific. The master bed was very comfortable. The layout of the house was pleasantly roomy. It's also quite solid, so floors didn't squeak. The shower in the second bathroom didn't work, but the one in the master bathroom was excellent and that was all we needed. WiFi was speedy. The house is on a busy road, but far enough back that the traffic wasn't an issue. It is conveniently located near grocery stores, the mall, Wesleyan College, and only 10 minutes to Amerson River Park, which made our old dog very happy! Finally, Annie and Stephen were terrific: very responsive and helpful in many ways.

Eric and David were incredibly kind, helpful, and responsive. We asked lots of questions and they were both available every step of the way. The area can be hard to find but with their help and directions we easily figured it out. We stayed at the camping area so I can only speak to that portion but it was beautiful, and pretty secluded. There was a cool trail, wonderful scenery and the kayaking / fishing was great! There is a train across the river so do be warned it can be loud at times but otherwise very peaceful. I can’t wait to see what these guys do with their land (already building a cool treehouse) and know it will be wonderful. We will absolutely be back in the future.
