Our beautiful, perfectly situated, large seafront apartment, is set over two floors, here in Roker , Sunderland. One of the most sought after places to stay . It’s a perfect place for business or pleasure whilst visiting the Northeast of England. Close to several pubs, restaurants and amenities, you couldn't ask for a better place to call your home away from home. We have recently had several small independent eateries open serving excellent food and drink. Which I can highly recommend.

The Empire Theatre is a 4 minute stroll. The cottage has the added benefit of having parking. Thistledowne (with an e) is a 3 bedroomed family house, also ideal for 3 or 4 friends, with cloakroom and conservatory; situated in a quiet area of Sunderland about 15 mins walk from the Stadium of Light. A 10 minute stroll will take you to Roker beach from where you can often see dolphins . Even closer are the National Glass Centre, Sunderland University's St. Peter's Campus and marina. Perfectly placed for early morning jogs or cycle rides either along the riverside or the seafront.

Over the Top, Durham
The living room/dining room/kitchen have an airy open aspect with far reaching views and are not overlooked. The house is an upside down one with the living area/dining room/kitchen and bathroom upstairs and the bedroom downstairs. PLEASE NOTE THAT THERE IS ONE BEDROOM WITH A STANDARD DOUBLE BED. There is a fairly narrow carport, (8 feet 8 inches wide), a small front garden and a small private seating area at the rear. There is double glazing throughout and gas central heating.

To the East we have the coastal town of Seaham Harbour, to the West we have Beamish Museum, County Durham and Northumberland

Nice evening by the fire. 2 mins to city centre, 10 mins to Stadium of light. Durham/ Newcastle 30 mins away for shopping & sightseeing.
