'The Howff' is a refurbished farm worker's bothy in a rural location with lots of walks and access to beautiful parts of Perthshire. One hour's drive from Edinburgh, 20 mins Dundee or Perth. This authentic bothy contains one room with single bed, wood burning stove, mini kitchen unit with fridge, oven, portable hob and kettle, separate shower room, wc, basin. Linen and towels included. Extremely warm and cosy hut with double glazing and log burning stove. Situated in the heart of a forest, on a hill with views down to Loch Voil. Perfect for walkers, cyclists, writers, artists....anyone looking for peace and quiet and instant access to the great outdoors. To reach the cabin you will need to drive for 3 miles on a forestry track. It is rough and has plenty of potholes so is not for the unadventurous or for those with low slung sports cars. A 4x4 is not necessary.

At Milton Cottage we aim to offer guests a cosy retreat to our croft where they can come and unwind in Glenlyon, Scotland’s longest and most beautiful glen. For hill walking, Ben Lawers and 12 munros are within a 6 mile radius. If you like fishing, salmon and trout fishing can be arranged. On request, we offer a three-course dinner. It's all homemade and we regularly cook vegetarian dishes, using our own or local produce where possible. The cottage has reliable WIFI broadband.

The cabin sleeps 2 people and is totally private. A wonderful location for fishing, walking and cycling, (or just chilling).
