Mohawk River: soggiorni in cottage

We ate most meals on the deck admiring the lake and scenery. Most hot days at the lake, jumping off the floating dock, swimming and kayaking the beautiful lake. Most cool nights in the hot tub. Beautiful lake and close to many places (Saratoga, Lake George). Kids really enjoyed the lake, floating dock and hot tub as well as playing darts on the deck. Tinney’s Tavern nearby had great food and was an easy walk. Nice hiking trail nearby. Joan was easily accessible for any questions that arose.

We had a great stay. Lots of hikes. Star gazing from the hot tub was fabulous!

Fantastic stay. Troy is SO communicative which put us at ease. He was also very transparent about what the house had and what we needed to bring ourselves. My favorite part was the abundance of kitchen tools which made cooking for our large group very easy. The property is quiet, private, and very scenic. The hot tub and fireplace were great - Troy provides plenty of firewood! There was very little cleanup required which we appreciated, too. Overall a great stay for a winter getaway and we hope to come back in the summer!

This house is great for group trips and families. Private yard and the hot tub is also really nice. we had trouble with the fireplace and heat when we got there and John actually came out to see us and help us out which was great. Lots of kitchen and dining space for hosting big dinners and meals even witha high chair for young kids.

We had a wonderful time at Amanda’s place. We just needed a quick get away to relax and it was perfect! The place is in a great location very quiet, beautiful trails to walk on plenty of restaurants to order from and lots of other things to do very close by and the place was immaculate. It had everything we needed and more. Amanda was a great host and responded immediately to any questions and it was also perfect for our dog who loved the fenced in backyard and really enjoyed the walks on the trails. The hot tub and fire pit were a bonus and we spent a lot of time enjoying them. Overall, a great spot to spend time and I would recommend it to anyone who just wants to get away be comfortable and enjoy all that Saratoga has to offer. Judith met us when we arrived and showed us around the home personally. We were amazed at the fully stocked refrigerator and cabinets and the delicious baked goodies she made for us. The home was immaculate and decorated beautifully. There were so many thoughtful touches throughout the home. We had everything we needed and so much more. Beautiful views of cascading water off the entire back side of the home visible from the hot tub and deck plus Judith and Ron's careful attention to every detail made our stay exceptional.

Couldn’t recommend Green Haven anymore. Barbara and Gregory were fantastic hosts, were extremely hands on and accommodating to make it a perfect stay for my family and dog. Everything in the listing is described perfectly and the property and cabins are super clean. Location is fantastic as well, just a very short drive into Lake George village.

We just spent 3 wonderful nights at Lisa’s house. The view was absolutely amazing! Everything was great. Very helpful when we asked questions and was very accommodating. Wish we could have stayed longer but had to get back to work. Would definitely rent this house again

MJ and Packy’s listing was exactly as described. Right on the Hudson River with beautiful views. Quiet, peaceful and relaxing. Kitchen was fully stocked. Rooms were comfy (beds could be upgraded but were adequate). Super clean bathroom and kitchen. Plenty of linens/towels. It’s 15-20 minutes from Glen Falls and Lake George and 25 mins to Saratoga Springs, if you want more options for food/nightlife/things to do. We were snowed in for a day and it felt just like home - games/tv/comfy couch. Would recommend.

Everything was exactly as it was in the Description. It was a bit tricky finding the exact location reason being it was dark out when we arrived. However, Ann & Francois were great and responded quickly and stood on the phone with us and guided us until we arrived at the front door. all-inall it was a very pleasant stay and experience. We will definitely look forward to another visit. I recommend this place to all who enjoy these types of experiences.

Hands down one of the best airbnb stays and hosts! Wanted to spend my husband’s birthday at the Buddy shack and happened to mention that to Brandon before the stay. When we checked in, baked chocolate cake, ice cream, a gift bag, a birthday card and a beautiful handwritten note were waiting for us. Above and beyond doesn’t even begin to describe this gesture! And there are thoughtful touches around the house that made us feel right at home. Communication was excellent. Felt like I was chatting with a friend. Tried two restaurants that they recommended and both could give the NYC restaurants a run for their money! The property is beautiful. Enjoyed excellent weather and quiet time by the lake. Overall, I highly recommend the Buddy Shack. You will return with wonderful memories and a full heart!

Our second stay here and it once again was the perfect place to spend a few days in Cooperstown. You're close to everything in the village plus you can literally walk out the door and into the woods for that amazing hike to Star Field.

We had a nice staycation here for the winter holidays. The home was cozy, secluded, and charming with a large backyard area for pets. Be cautious, as our front-wheel-drive car couldn’t make it up the hill in the snow, but we found an alternate route to the home.

We love staying at Andrew's place! Andy is a great host and the house is very cozy and peaceful. We always feel right at home. ❤️

Great country cottage style cozy farmhouse, beautifully decorated with a well provisioned kitchen and super comfortable beds. We loved having the parking space in Cooperstown for induction weekend, it teally worked out great! The grill was like new and we had a wonderful bonfire one night. One of our favorites stays to date!

Very relaxing and comfortable lake side house. We were right on the lake with beautiful views and a quiet atmosphere. Spent some time paddle boarding and kayaking. My husband is an avid bird watcher and enjoyed all the wildlife and especially the loons and ducks.

I can’t say enough positive things about Daniel’s place. The setting was beautiful and serene; It was so quiet and peaceful we almost felt like it was our own private lake! The house was lovely and so tastefully and uniquely decorated. All the windows gave a constant view of the lake. There are many quaint towns to explore within a 30 minute drive, but you may want to spend most of your time enjoying the lake and kayak. We hope to return in the summer.

An excellent stay! All amenities mathed the description, and it's a gorgeous area for a private getaway.

Three families stayed for a total of 14. Ages 3 to 46. Had everything we needed for everyone. Peaceful and cozy. We jumped in the lake a few times with the kids and it was freezing but so much fun! Warmed right up in front of the fireplace. Great Adirondack room and sun porch were the best too and of course the views. Thanks Rod!

We had a lovely stay! The house was great and the grounds were just gorgeous - there was a nice, little path through the forest just behind the fire pit, and we recommend taking a stroll through the woods (and using the fire pit!). We hope to be back again soon!

The place is tucked into a quiet little neighborhood. Walking with a leashed dog wasn't super easy on the rural road, but there is a beautiful little lakeside park that's fairly close. The house was as pictured, but looks like Paul upgraded the size of the living room TV since the last photos. The loft was enticing for the kids, but access is a little steep. Maybe use caution if you're a clumsy adult. Paul was on top of anything we asked and everything was in good working order. Plenty of towels, toilet paper and kitchen supplies. Thanks again.
