Everything went smoothly and the flat was clean, spacious, and quiet. The amenities, like washer and dryer, were wonderful. While the location was slightly off the common "tourist path," we actually appreciated that and it was an easy bus ride or Uber back to the flat each night. We also enjoyed the local pub and the food choices nearby. My only issue was the lack of communication about the 3 flights of stairs/no lift. This fact is mentioned in other reviews (as I see now), but not in the description of the property nor in the initial instructions for accessing the flat. The stairs themselves are not Ben's fault and as I learned on my 14-day journey through Ireland and the UK, accessibility is not a priority in these old cities. That's fine. But the lesson for me I guess is to read reviews a little more closely, as that's the only place the stairs are mentioned. I have bad knees so trekking up the stairs each night after a long day was, quite simply, torture. But still a great stay.

Attractive and stylish period property with fresh neutral decor and plenty of space. High ceilings and original features. Location great, at start of one of the main roads out of town, less than 5 mins from train station. Town centre walkable in 10 - 15 mins through an established Victorian residential area around Lovers’ Walk. River / Whitesands area 15 - 20 mins walk. Easy parking for the property on adjacent side streets. Bus route too (Dumfries to Lockerbie). Property is on the ground floor of a 3 storey townhouse, with around 10 steps up to front door. Dumfries town centre and surroundings have lots to offer. Robert Burns’ House and Centre, Gracefield Art Gallery, River Nith and Dock Park, town Museum, small cinema, plus shops including M&S, a large old Dept Store (Barbour’s), and independent shops such as Flourish, for local gifts etc. Plenty of cafés, restaurants and pubs.

Really enjoyed our stay. Ground floor apartment in quiet area, with restaurants and grocery store within easy walking distance. Apartment is comfortable, well furnished, VERY clean, and appliances are all new. The accommodation is impressive, and the host even more so. Marion anticipates so much of what you'll want to know, and has prepared a binder full of information including clear instructions for appliances; safety information; suggestions for restaurants; shopping locations; and even contact info for taxi service, if desired. She is punctual and thorough in responding to questions, and truly a pleasure to work with. Marion is not only a super host... she sets the bar, and defines the term.

I had an amazing stay at Vik and Thiago’s place! The apartment was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything we needed. The location was absolutely perfect—right next to a supermarket and the metro, making it incredibly convenient for getting around the city. It was also very close to the University of Glasgow, which was a huge plus. The check-in process was smooth, and Vik and Thiago were fantastic hosts—responsive, friendly, and always helpful. The apartment had a cozy atmosphere, making our stay even more enjoyable. I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Glasgow, and I would definitely stay here again in the future. We had a lovely stay in Scott’s very attractive, comfortable flat. It’s got a really nice outdoor patio area and the walk along the harbour is fun to do. Lots of nice restaurants nearby and the parking is very straightforward. Scott himself was very friendly and helpful. All in all quite a find!

This was a perfect place for us to stay which was 3 couples. It was in close proximity for walking to many of Edinburgh’s many sights. The host was quick to respond to our questions. The only thing I would suggest to a new renter, is when keying in on Maps is to use both STREET & LANE as our host has it listed. This was our problem, not the hosts. The patio was very nice to sit out and enjoy the neighborhood. If I come back to Edinburgh, I would stay in this BnB again.

Valentina’s place was within walking distance to everything we needed. We never heard any of the construction outside. Very quiet. Entryway is definitely run down but the apartment itself is very clean and modern. Having the washer and dryer was a huge bonus! Overall would stay again!

Mel was a very helpful and friendly host. The cottage was comfortable and well equipped with everything we needed for a quiet and peaceful break. Particularly good for the dog with the garden being fully enclosed and free to roam.

We all had an amazing time ! Plenty space for our family of 11 and 3 dogs.

Place was exactly as expected. We only had a short stay, but found all the amenities and space that we needed and expected from the listing. Connie and co hosts were great and were very responsive prior to our stay and throughout.

A beautiful property, providing a very comfortable stay, well located to the town centre. Anna has been a great host very responsive to our messages I highly recommend this property.

The apartment was easy to find, it is not in the city centre but there are bus stops nearby. We needed to take a bus very early in the morning to the airport and it was easy. The apartment is comfortable and large enough for four people. It is well furnished to have meals in the house. We enjoyed the welcome pack in the fridge. The conservatory and the rear garden are lovely. Enjoy your stay there!

I had an absolutely fantastic experience staying at this Airbnb. The place was exactly as described—clean, stylish, and incredibly comfortable. La casa ha sido espectacular. Hemos ido un grupo de 6 amigas y hemos disfrutado de desayunar en el cocina muy amplia y con absolutamente todo lo que puedas necesitar. La casa estaba súper limpia y muy bonita decorada. Sin ninguna duda recomiendo este alojamiento

Fantastic dwelling, great location and excellent hosts. We will definitely look to return to Edinburgh in the future and seek this residence as well as highly recommending it to our friends and family. Our hosts Mark and Dayna were wonderful especially with their wonderful gesture of allowing us to stay an extra night, free of charge, due to The Hogmanay Festival being cancelled. Thank you again. A super, well equipped, quiet and very comfortable apartment in great location. We only used for a single night to watch a show at the Playhouse but it would also be great for longer stays.

The best Airbnb I’ve stayed in. Wonderful location. Magical shower. Every room was literally perfect. Average internet, but honestly it didn’t really impact our stay. 🙏🏻🙌🏻

L appartement est situé à 1.5km à pied de la vieille ville et à 400m du jardin botanique. Nous avons visité Edimbourg sur 2 jours à pied. L appartement est très bien aménagé et il y a même un adaptateur pour prise française. la chambre double dispose d une petite salle de douche /toilette privée en plus de la salle de bain principale. Nous y avons passé un très bon séjour. place de parking extérieure pour visiteur, place de parking dans la rue adjacente ( gratuit le we) Margaret a été très claire et agréable dans ses messages. Nous recommandons vivement.

Very pretty apartment with all you need. We loved our time here and there were plenty of restaurants, bars, cafes nearby. It was a walking distance to old town. The only small negative thing which is not just specific to this apartment in Edinburg I think, is temperature in the apartment was a little too low sometimes. It didn't bother us too much so did not even contact Dora, maybe it was us who did not use thermometer right :) All in all, we definitely recommend this place!
