This place is BEAUTIFUL. The views are breathtaking and the home is private and cozy. Matthew responded quickly to any questions and even gave local recommendations for restaurants! We will definitely plan to come back!

Our family had the most wonderful stay at Katelyn’s home. The home was well taken care of and very clean. Clear instructions were provided for the home and small details such as dog toys/bowls and cleaning supplies were thoughtful. The home was well stocked with everything a family could need for their stay. The views from the porch were stunning and the surrounding property was beautiful and quiet. The waterfall on the property was even more beautiful than the pictures! The home is private and feels secluded but is a short drive to local stores and activities. We will definitely stay here again the next time we are in the area!

Sleepy Bear is a magical place to rest and get away from the suburban crawl. The property is amazing with rolling green hills and flowering trees surrounding it. The house is a spacious, exposed wood wonder that was very comfortable. It has everything you need from a playroom downstairs for the kids and an outdoor hot tub for doing some star gazing without the hue of city lights. Wifi was a bit on the slow side, but it helped us to detox from our devices for a few days. Would definitely return to Sleepy Bear next time we visit.

Taylor communicated well with me and was responsive. Although the area has had a devastating hurricane the area was easy to get in and out. Certainly a fine place for relaxing and getting away. Definitely would stay again.

Loved everything about our stay here! It is so beautiful and peaceful. The house was a perfect fit for our family to come together and was extremely clean. We had everything we needed and more! The information provided and Josh’s responsive communication made this vacation so enjoyable and relaxing. The kids loved the treehouse and the goats were everyone’s favorite. This is definitely a place to visit and stay for as long as you can!

Our family had a lovely stay. There was plenty of room for everyone, the house was spotless and the views were absolutely beautiful. Getting in and out was no problem at all. The hosts are super responsive although we had no issue at all and the beds were amazing to sleep in! We would absolutely come stay here again.

Great secluded house at the top of a mountain road. Host was able to accommodate an early check in for us and the house was clean and well stocked with everything we needed.

This cozy cabin was perfect for a last minute get away with my partner! We needed to get out of the city and find a quiet place to relax. At the end of the weekend we didn’t want to leave. This cabin has everything you need to feel right at home. Location is private and not too far from Asheville for a fun day trip. Andrew was very responsive and gave clear instructions from the home itself as well as its surroundings. An unexpected storm knocked out the power for a few hours and Andrew came to check in on us and made sure we had everything we needed. We would absolutely love to come back!

We rented this cabin for a family week in the mountains and feel very fortunate to have stumbled upon this gem. Swiss Miss is a peaceful, beautiful very close to the Blue Ridge Parkway. The cabin has all the amenities needed for a fun week of cooking, relaxing, playing games, and enjoying the mountain air. There are numerous overlooks and hikes nearby for adventure enthusiasts. Also, for shopping convenience, a Walmart located 8 minutes away. Don't let proximity to restaurants and shops fool you, this cabin is up a gravel drive and really seems quite private during the full foliage of summer. Highly recommend for families with fur babies as the backyard is a great spot for everybody to play and enjoy time outside together. 10/10 will stay again.

We had an amazing visit for our anniversary. The cabin was perfect for us - spacious but cozy, and very private! It was a difficult driveway to ascend after rain, so we had to park at the lower part of the drive, but it was not bad for us. The beds weren't the most comfortable, but the rest of the home more than made up for a little sore back! We would return in a heartbeat.

Wow this is a magical place. By far one of the best homes we have ever stayed at. The house itself is whisimical and airy and you cannot beat the blue ridge mountain scenery . Every weather pattern had something to offer by way of views. It was an experience! We can't wait to go back.

We love the area because it is quiet and peaceful with a babbling creek and a beautiful fire pit next to the house. The remodeling on the interior was beautiful especially the kitchen with everything you could ask for and well stocked. We most of our time at the house and relaxed. We will definitely return to this place.

amazing place to stay even after the hurricane, some on the main roads are shut down, however Tefa was very helpful with directions on how to get there that the GPS won't show. Definitely recommend staying here if you are looking for a nice quiet place to stay.

The hideout was very clean and cute. The on demand shower made me nervous but worked very well once you realize how it works. The whole experience was a great one. Thanks again guys

Great cabin with a beautiful view. Comfy beds, very clean, well stocked kitchen made eating in easy, and the deck was a joy to sit and relax. We'll definitely be back!

The nature surrounding the cabin is pure magic, with a gentle creek running right outside the cabin and beautiful nature walks/trails just outside as well. The cabin itself was rustic and cozy,--the pictures don't do it justice! This particular cabin (Galax Glade) was a little difficult to heat in the winter, but a extra space heater is provided to compensate, and did the job well. Would absolute stay again!

The house is build on the mountains and is a great escape for a peaceful and amazing vacation.. The house was really clean and very spacious. The grilling area is well equipped(excepting for skewers and tongs) and you can have a fine time with friends and family while you enjoy the views in the evening. The master bedroom is the icing on the cake with a unique style and luxurious bathroom. The kitchen has almost all the utensils that would be required for cooking or baking. The house is not equipped with an option for AC cooling and to bring down the hot temperature in summers the guests will need to open the windows in rooms and living area. The drive way to the house is really steep and would need a AWD with an experienced driver.. All in all a wonderful place and feels like home.

Our family enjoyed the private location nested on a beautiful river only a short drive to Mt. Mitchell. Burnsville has plenty to enjoy or you can check out Asheville as well. We spent most of our time hiking the Mt. Mitchell State Park and driving the Blueridge Parkway (a must see). Then relaxed at the well stocked house which felt just like home. We cooked most of our meals in the well stocked kitchen, walked and rafted the river, and played the many games inside when it was raining. We will definitely check availability for the next trip we plan to this area. Sean communicated throughout the trip clearly and let us know they were available if necessary. No pressure to respond as we didn't have cell service up on Mt. Mitchell.

Excellent vacation with my family. Property had everything that was listed and all that we needed. Excellent host that was easy to communicate with. I hope to go back soon.
