This historic home built in 1884 has been completely renovated with loving care by a granddaughter with fond memories of magical times at her grandparents' unique home. Sip your coffee on the front porch while you take in the sounds of nature, enjoy a view of the falls from the dining table, and sleep late up in the cozy loft. From the front door you are roughly 30 minutes away from 6 major ski resorts, numberless mountain hikes, and 15 minutes from the bustle of downtown. Come and enjoy!

The Night Deposit

Deposit yourself! Bank built in 1917, just 10 minutes on blacktop from Toppling Goliath Brewery. Located in Frankville Iowa and just a few miles up the hill from the Yellow River. Queen bed in one bedroom, and a futon in the main space. Full kitchen stocked with pancake mix and sausages. City Park is four blocks away or Nintendo 64, electric guitar and keyboard, or board games for rainy days. Also feel free to play whatever music you find, just return it. Large backyard and hammock.

The Viewhouse - Hinterwood Inn & Cabins

The Viewhouse is part of Hinterwood Inn & Cabins and sleeps up to 8 people. It has 3 bedrooms, each with a queen bed and full private bathroom, then the living room has a daybed/trundle (two twin mattresses) for additional sleeping. Enjoy a full kitchen with provided essentials, and a private deck and fire pit area with a gas grill. It has two levels, so requires the use of stairs. You will love the views, animal sightings, and hiking right from your front door.
