Enjoy privacy in this beautifully handcrafted cottage with arched ceilings. The cottage is 2 miles from downtown Goshen - a vibrant small town with restaurants and shops. It's 1 mile from Goshen College, 45 minutes from Notre Dame and 25 minutes from the Amish town of Shipshewana. The cottage is beside a fruit, nut and berry orchard and gardens. It's adjacent to a city bike trail that links to the Pumpkinvine nature/bike trail. It's close to a train crossing (with whistle) and a busy street.

Standalone 750 square foot studio on 4 beautiful acres. Renovated in 2017. Roomy and comfortable, this space is perfect for overnight to short-term stays. The space is very private, separate from the main house, has its own entrance and dedicated heating and cooling. Close to shopping and dining, 15 minutes to Notre Dame and 30 minutes from Lake Michigan beaches and resort communities. Owners live in main house on property with their very friendly dog, Poppy, 2 barn cats, and 5 free-range hens.

This is a TINY private studio for ONE quiet person in a 4-unit house. Non-smoking inside & out. No pets. Most guests are in town for work or study, so we try to keep a quiet house for sleeping/studying. Ours is an IMPROVING neighborhood but is still a work in progress! Houses are very old and some are still in rough shape. It is often quiet but with unpredictable urban sounds: music, traffic, people socializing outdoors, nearby hospital/fire station sounds, children playing. More info below.
