Griffin - The Lake Superior Riverboat

The Griffin is a functioning riverboat, driven by paddle wheels, originally modeled after historic Mississippi steamboats. It is located at a mom and pop boat yard, which is quite different from a fancy marina. Work happens here. Metal is welded here. Engines are torn apart and put back together here. A small, shallow private lake (no fish or motorcraft) crystal clear water. A row boat is available. Several marked walking trails throughout the property. An ideal place for reflection and enjoying nature. You will be off the beaten path. Out of respect for those who are looking for a natural retreat with lots of wildlife: No Pets, Children, Smoking

The Timberjack

Although it's a rustic homage to the lumberjacks and jills of yesteryear, this cabin includes many of the comforts we now enjoy including a queen bed, kitchenette with fridge, hot water, AC/heat, a Keurig coffeemaker, smart TV and charcoal grill. The Timberjack is surrounded by trees right on Lake Hayward and close to downtown Hayward. Launch your canoe just steps from the cabin, walk into town for lunch, or go hiking or skiing on the nearby trails, this cabin is nestled in the ideal location!

Welcome to Tall Moon Timber House! Our beautiful 2-level cabin is located in Danbury, Wisconsin. Relax in our 4 bed, 1 bath cabin nestled within Voyager Village. This gives our guests access to the golf course, beaches, indoor swimming pool*, bocce ball, tennis and pickle ball courts, basketball courts, and other recreational activities! Enjoy a quiet, relaxing week in the north woods of Hayward, WI! Our 2 bedroom, 2 bath cabin sleeps six comfortably (2 queen beds and a futon). Cabin is two levels and 1500 square ft. The cabin is located on the Namekagon River with direct access to Hayward Lake and the public boat launch just a few hundred feet away. You really get the best of both worlds here as the cabin is tucked away in a private, wooded area but is also walking distance to downtown Hayward and other attractions!!
