Hungry Hippie Hostel now has Camping + Glamping! Our canvas wall tents are waterproof and super cozy! Our version of Glamping includes: the 8'x16' tent, decking (with screened in porch), comfy mattress and the breathtaking views of Lake Superior. Also included- a campfire ring and picnic table at each glamping site. Tents are located within 200 feet of our new shower house. The shower house is divided into mens & womens spaces. Each space having two showers, three toilets and two sinks.

I include two kayaks, a canoe & a paddle boat to explore the lake! This 5 acre piece of heaven on Shell lake is conveniently located between Detroit Lakes & Park Rapids.

Art Camp

Welcome to Art Camp. Art camp is a Bell Tent hosted by ceramic artist Ani Kasten at her homestead and ceramics studio. Offering a unique, comfortable and inspiring respite, surrounded by nature and art, Art Camp was created to meld enjoyment of the outdoors with art and creativity. Fun fact – this property was the original location for Franconia Sculpture Park, which is now located just a mile to the west on Hwy 8. You’ll still spot remaining sculptures and equipment from that time.

Secluded Cozy Camper

Discover the gorgeous property that this cozy camper sits on. The benefits of country life with all the amenities of city life near by. This centrally located 4 acre property sits 10 minutes from the mall in Duluth and 15 minutes from downtown Duluth and the airport. It’s 10 minutes to Proctor and Spirit Mountain. Our house is located here as well but you will have your own area and dedicated parking. Most times we won’t be here but if we are you won’t hear or notice us.

Meadowview

A unique place to stay. You will be out back on our hobby farm looking across the field to a hill of aspen and evergreens. We have goats, chickens, ducks and kitties. We have plenty of things to do. Volleyball, croquet….. and a fire pit! The camper is old but remodeled on the inside. THERE IS ONLY ELECTRICITY TO THE APPLIANCES! Wireless lights in each room and propane stove and water heater. There is a swamp cooler! It’s not quite AC but it might help at bedtime.

Yurt-Style Tent at Stone Creek Farm

1 of 4 campsites on the farm, this yurt-style tent has all you need to enjoy camping without the work! The campsite includes a picnic table, BBQ grill and fire pit. There is a self composting toilet on site. Camp carts available to bring gear out. Drinking water is available from the hose out by the high tunnel. It is about a quarter mile walk to the site. The Landing 4

Discover the gorgeous landscape that surrounds this place to stay. Located on the edge of the Beltrami Forest with 70+ miles of ATV trails and only 10 miles from beautiful Lake of the Woods. BBQ in the outdoor kitchen or dine at The Hawk Tavern located on the property. The Landing has a master bedroom with a queen bed and a second bedroom with two twin size upper bunks and a couch below. After a day on the lake or riding the trails relax by the bonfire.

The Arcadia on West Lost Lake

Nestled in the heart of Otter Tail County, Minnesota, the Arcadia is a fully-equipped camper that offers the perfect blend of comfort and exploration. Your stay includes access to the sandy beach, two docks, a boat launch, several kayaks & paddle boards, and a pontoon rental. There are many nearby attractions including two state parks, dining options for everyone, plenty of shopping, and over 1000 lakes including the nearby Otter Tail Lake.
