The log home is located on a quiet farm just a short distance from the Appalachian Highway in Southern Ohio. Take a walk on the property or relax on one of the porches. You might see deer, turkey and other wildlife. (Hunting is not allowed.) The house is just a short drive from Amish country, Serpent Mound and other family-friendly activities. Good for couples, solo adventurers and families.

As you step inside, you’ll be greeted by the warm and inviting ambiance of natural wood and large windows that bathe the interior in natural light. Relax in the hot tub & enjoy the scenic view from the balcony.

Cozy Farm Cabin

Authentic log cabin set on an equestrian horse show complex with a few modern amenities. This cabin offers a cozy feel with a small kitchenette and living space. A bathroom addition added to the first floor with a stand up shower. Upstairs offers two double beds. The stairs are original and steep. Plenty of parking available. Pet friendly space. Most weekends we have events at the facility and trucks, trailers and horses will surround the cabin. Located apx 10 miles outside of town.

January & February Special: By popular request, Rockwood Falls Cabin is open for weekend stays during January and February, with Friday check-in and a two-night minimum. Set on 100 private acres in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains, this romantic retreat features a peaceful pond and waterfall. Relax in the hot tub, explore private trails and stocked fishing ponds, and enjoy nearby winter attractions like Portsmouth Winterfest—an intimate southern Ohio escape surrounded by nature.

Enjoy Portsmouth Ohio's Boneyfiddle Historic District! Stay within walking distance of restaurants, events, shopping, and Shawnee State University. This is a fully furnished 1 bedroom/1 bath apartment with a private entrance. The nearly 1000 sq. ft. space boasts a galley kitchen open to the living room where the couch pulls out to a queen bed. Bedroom features include a king bed and walk-in closet. Washer and dryer access are on premises. This is a smoke-free unit. Pet-friendly.
