Mindanao: soggiorni in alloggi con caminetto

We booked Yayay for our 8 days on Siargao as a quieter alternative to GL. Having a full kitchen was also desirable. Despite a rough start (no gas for kitchen, minimal furnishings/kitchenware, plumbing issues, malfunctioning AC, intermittent power loss), our host, B-Boy made us feel taken care of and was extremely responsive throughout the stay. He always found a solution and helped us arrange transportation, rentals, and provided great local advice. I suspect we checked in on a day with lots of turnover, so the minor oversights could be forgiven, especially considering the host’s responsiveness. Room cleaning and laundry service were top notch. I would easily stay at Yayay again and appreciate the spaciousness of the units and overall customer value. Thank you B-Boy!

Hosts are extremely friendly! Location is about 50 meters off main road (White Island area) so your near everything but you don’t hear any noise (including chickens) which is great. Was looking for house with large open area since there were 6 of us it was spacious enough to not feel crowded! One bedroom can sleep 4 comfortably so that’s a plus! Owner also helped with transportation and has nice new motorbikes for rent. Owner has the nicest (and cleanest) dogs I’ve seen in the Philippines and they were a joy to see everyday. Bella the small Golden Retriever is sweet as can be! Kitchen has everything you’d want for cooking (except a microwave). Bathroom is large and clean (no hot water). Overall if you have 4 people or more and want some bonding (family time) Rocky’s Homestay is idea especially considering the location.

We had a pleasant holiday in Joan's house. The apartment is very nice, the kitchenette equipped with pots and appliances. The larger bedroom is very spacious, bright and quiet. The view from the balcony is very beautiful, you can see the sea which is not very far away and beautiful tropical vegetation. The swimming pool is not very large but is perfect for spending pleasant and refreshing moments. Joan, our host, is very nice and above all very helpful and attentive to the needs of her guests. We will definitely return to Samal to Joan's house.

Alberto’s VILLA is probably the one of the best yet in the island. gives you privacy and amazing vibes, from the pool, amenities. the way going there might be challenging but once u get there, it will be worth it. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. would totally come back. had issues during the night but alberto was responsive with everything. amazing host!

Spacious and comfortable… Great place to hang out! We loved the pool and having breakfast and dinner cooked for us (extra charge but can be arranged). The weather was warm but our rooms had fans and AC so we were happy! There is an honor bar, so no need to pick up drinks on your way to the villa. You can walk down to the water but there is no sand beach. Best sunset views from patio and pool!

It was a truly relaxing stay. The place is very nice. All things that you will need during your stay were provided without even asking for it. The host are very accommodating, they allowed us to check in early since we arrived earlier that the listed time. They even assisted us in securing transport for our country side tour. Will surely recommend to our family and friends who will visit Panglao island. Thanks Nenita and her sister Susan for hosting and assisting us.

I felt at home. I love the peaceful yet warm vibe of Sascha's place. You'll be greeted with the cute dogs. Grateful for Ate Charima taking extra care of my needs esp the lovely dinner. Thank you for letting me in your home. I'll be back.

Very cozy and clean apartment equipped with everything we needed. A good bed and nice bathroom. Mam Fidela is a great host, easy to communicate with and so accommodating. We had a great stay. We are looking forward to staying there again if ever we visit Bohol again.

We loved our experience at The Browns Casita - very peaceful with a big garden area with the view of coconut trees, a nice place to cook and grill and just relax or lounge around. The area was perfect to be still, do some yoga and reading. We brought our books but also enjoyed the books selection available. We loved the Vertuo pods, the bibingka and fruits. Wifi works great when I had to squeeze in some work. The place was exactly what we needed and hoped for. For those not used to the tropics, best to ask for advice from the host on what to expect and of course, insect repellents :) Our dog had the most pleasant time and was also very happy. She absolutely loved the space where she could do zoomies freely. She took home some toys that the host gave as a gift. We’ve already given our recommendations to friends and will be back for sure if we need some quiet time. Special thanks to Nanay Gai and her husband as well for everything.
