Lois’ place was beautiful, all of us wanted to stay longer! The house was clean and tidy and the surroundings peaceful. For only being five minutes from Frankenmuth it felt like we were somewhere much more isolated (in a good way). You won’t regret booking this place whether you’re visiting Frankenmuth, Birch Run, or just want a peaceful place to unwind.

We stayed here for a relaxed bachelorette weekend and it was perfect! The location was perfect to walk downtown, and the space was perfect to play card games and hang out with. The beds had plenty of warm cozy blankets, and there were more than enough towels!

Sue’s home was the perfect setting for our family Christmas! Now that the kids are grown and living in other states, it was wonderful to find a home to be able to all be so comfortable under one roof and so close to my parents and extended family in the Midland-Auburn area. Sue had even decorated for Christmas! 🎄 ✨ We arrived late at night in the middle of a snow storm right before Christmas. Arriving at the home was truly a feeling of sanctuary and welcome. The kitchen was very generously stocked with coffee and tea and hot cocoa and so many herbs and spices for cooking. These amenities made preparing our Christmas meals and baking cookies so much easier. I highly recommend this home and was so grateful for the thoughtful communication with the hosts. Hopefully next time we can come in the summer months to visit Dow gardens which is just down the road. You are in good hands if you choose to stay here.

Outstanding! Very clean. We clean up after ourselves so not getting slammed with a high house cleaning fee and other fees made this a great value for families. One of the best places we’ve ever rented and Becca was so nice to work with.

Don and Kristy have a gem! The house character by itself is amazing - a ton of history just looking at the house. The next layer of amazing is in the form of furnishings! The mid century breakfast table, end tables, living room clock, couches, and chairs are completely amazing! Super flexible on scheduling also - very responsive. I can't say how wonderful our stay was! The neighborhood was quiet and all well kept! Truly a gem!

Nice little get away. They have a cute little pond right outside of the place, when you look out the window you see the water, it’s very nice. It was pretty cold when we went but still had a great time. The owners house is on the property but they stick to themselves which is nice, we thought we were going to see them/ hear them way more than what we did. Property does have a bit of walking area, however most of the property was dug up cornfields and muddy so we didn’t walk through that. Overall the place was nice and I would book again once it’s a little warmer.

We visited over Easter Weekend. Chris was super responsive, and our stay was very peaceful and relaxing. Frankenmuth is a wonderful city, and we were fortunate to have found such a great place to use as a ‘home’ base 😃

We felt lucky to stay in such a well maintained, old architecture style apartment. Lots of natural light from the beautiful windows . Great space, with everything you need for a comfy stay. It was quiet and walkable to restaurants and along the river. Thanks Donald, wendy

Great place to stay. Very homey, felt very comfortable. Loved all the decor, beds were very comfortable. Very clean & lots of extras that are not usually included at some other places. I would gladly stay again. Karin responded to any questions promptly. Only thing that I would suggest is the shower, kind of complicated.. Thanks again Karin!

The space was immaculate. It looked recently painted and fresh. The staff were extremely responsive. My phone can't support the upgrade to airbnb and they helped me work around that issue.

This was our serving day stay here and once again we were completely happy with our stay. So much so we’ve always booked for our 3rd yr!!! Love the location, easy to walk to so many areas of town. Coffee just down in the street and Tiffanys right next door for dinner. The balcony is a fanatic feature. I don’t think we could have asked for more.

A great place to stay!

Very clean, nice place. Although there was an underlying musty smell in the living room. We opened windows while there which helped. Bathrooms and bed were very clean and I am a stickler for cleanliness. Would visit again, possibly in a different unit to avoid the damp smell.

Loved the location; not a lot to do locally, but Caseville, Bad Axe, and Port Austin were a very short, scenic, and serene drive away.

Doug was a wonderful host and very quick to respond and deliver if we needed anything at all. Stayed here with my wife and baby girl to be closer to the job in Hemlock. This location is in a peaceful, just outside downtown neighborhood. The entire city of Midland was very pleasant to be in ; everyone here was very friendly and just so much different from the Detroit Metro area. You definitely feel safe here. Being so close to downtown , there were plenty of restaurants, parks, and stores that are less than a 5 minute drive away. Will definitely be coming back in the future. Thanks again Doug!
