We rented Amanda's place for 2 nights in the winter and it surpassed our expectations! Amanda was a great communicator. The older cottage has been extensively renovated, it was clean, comfortable and cozy. We loved the wood stove and the heating system worked well. The kitchen is first-rate, and very well-equipped, it even had decent knives! We cook a lot and we very much enjoyed making meals there. We loved watching the ever-changing weather on the river from the picture window in the living room, and even saw a beautiful sunrise. The star of our stay was the sauna—we have a wood-burning sauna at home and at our cottage—and we were very impressed with its size, the modern design, the huge picture window and the style of stove. It got up to temperature even in -17 degree weather. We hiked and snowshoed in the Alexander Hope Smith Nature Reserve which was a walk from the cottage. The town of Washago was a 11 minute drive, with a great grocery store. Would definitely stay there again!

Brett was an awesome host. Was always super responsive and helpful. His cottage was such a relaxing time for my family and I. The backyard was very private and great for my dog to run around in. We enjoyed fishing, canoeing, and using the fire pit!

Fred’s house was great! The house’s open concept was large enough for all of us (6 adults) to hang out in through the cold winter days without feeling crowded. The fireplace added lovely ambience and warmth. The six bedrooms ensured we all had our own space, which was a nice treat for our girls’ weekend. The master bedroom with ensuite was particularly spacious. The whole house was nicely decorated, and overall was a cozy and welcoming place. We didn’t use the sunroom, as is unfortunately smelled of smoke. Fred was a very responsive host. He quickly answered any questions. We had a lovely stay here, and wouldn’t hesitate to fully recommend it.

The place is filled with love of Pirabakaran, we can feel the efforts on all the items and supplies he provides to make our living experience way much easier and nicer. The house and space are nice and comfortable, recommended for having a relaxing lakefront cottage/house getaway with the people you love. amenities are good: kayak, floating, fire pit, huge lakefront backyard, bbq grill, pool table, darts, big living and dining area

Dylan’s place was better than anticipated. Large, well-laid out, clean, beautiful views and well-stocked. I think most impressive was Dylan himself who was extremely responsive and friendly. He is a SuperHost. I would absolutely come back,

Absolutely stunning home on the water! Beautifully decorated and very well set up to host people. We had a wonderful time and the host was so quick to reply when we had any questions. We are looking forward to booking again in the future. The home is spotless. The beds are comfy, the hot tub was hot, the kitchen and appliances were unbelievably well thought out. The information given was so helpful in figuring out how to use everything. 10/10 experience and weekend. Thank you!!

5/5 – A Perfect Lakeside Getaway!** Our stay at this lovely home was absolutely wonderful! The lakeside view was breathtaking, and we loved having access to kayaking—such a peaceful way to start the mornings. The place was spotless, and the host clearly put a lot of thought into making guests feel comfortable. Little touches like the coffee and tea machine, a well-equipped kitchen, and even a baby gate for safety made our stay so convenient. The living area was cozy, and we enjoyed using the BBQ grill for some outdoor meals. Honestly, we couldn’t think of anything missing—it had everything we needed! The place is exactly how it was advertised. Everything in the property was well thought of in terms of what people might need in their stay. Kitchen was well equipped that I was able to cook without issues. The host provided info about the location and places to see which is very thoughtful. the space was gorgeous! the views out of all the windows were awesome. the hot tub/deck/dock space were also to die for! Randy gave us a tour of the space including our private deck with bbq and the shared outdoor spaces. Having a host actually meet and greet is something that is rarer and rarer on air bnb lately and my wife and I liked the experience. Will be back again!

We had a wonderful 10-night stay! The house is even better than how it seems in the pictures. Right on the lake, with a wall of large windows facing the lake directly. Washroom has a big bathtub and another large window facing the lake. The balcony and dock are right outside. The house is very well-stocked, and has a fully functional kitchen (good enough for actually living there). Bryan and Pam were quickly responsive and kind, and also generously accommodated an extra request of ours. Neighbors are close, but the windows facing them have curtains, and it feels private. We can't wait to come again!

The place was absolutely beautiful. Michelle gave very detailed instructions which helped. The hot tub and sauna was a bonus. Michelle responded to any questions very quickly and was very friendly. Gravenhurst is a cute little town, it has everything you need. I would love to stay again!

The stay was amazing and the host was also very responsive. Highly recommend. Only there was water pressure issue. As someone takes a bath the water in the kitchen slows down and vice-versa. Other than this it was a must visit place.

What a great location for a cottage! The included boats (canoes & kayaks) are really nice. We went in late October (end of the season) and the neighborhood was nearly deserted. We were often the only people out on the lake. It takes about 20-25 minutes to paddle over to one of the several waterfront restaurants in Port Severn. Trevor's communications were very precise and easy to follow. Only negative comment concerns the well water. It's not just high in minerals, it is so high in minerals that it smells terrible and you really don't want to shower in it.

The cottage setting was spectacular! Quiet and peaceful with the amenities my group loves - big, comfortable common spaces, a large kitchen, and rooms for private, peaceful sleeping. The wood burning fireplace was a real treat.

We enjoyed our stay. More beautiful than the pictures. Caroline was very responsive. She offered us early check-in and accepted to check out at 11am instead of 10am. can't wait to go back in summer.
