Welcome to "Cabin on Swede Hill". Our family has farmed this land since 1871. My great grandparents, Swan and Johanna Johnson immigrated to America in the 1860's, found this land which was similar to Sweden. They raised their family here. Approximately 65 Swedish families settled in this community, became to be know as the "Swede Hills". We just received the Hoosier Homestead Award from Indiana celebrating the Sesquicentennial Award. The Studio at the Dunes

Experience tiny living at the Studio after a day exploring the beautiful Indiana Dunes National Park! You will love this cozy tiny house with vaulted ceilings and modern amenities. Bonus is the four-season room where you can have all your meals or enjoy your morning coffee surrounded by nature, but without the fear of bugs. House of Zen: Peaceful Modern Cabin on Tryon Farm

The House of Zen is an architect designed home situated in the woods, part of a sustainable farm community on 170 acres. Only an hour drive from Chicago, and close to Indiana Dunes National Park, it is the ultimate escape. The perfect getaway for couples, creatives and nature lovers who want some peace, quiet and space. Explore the farm trails & enjoy the wildlife and soothing sounds. Note: We have a 3 night minimum stay during summer, but open up 2 night stays 1-2 weeks before if possible.

The Blue Herron- Dog friendly

The Blue Herron is a clean, quaint, little cottage near Lake Michigan. A welcoming big backyard with a hot tub** and fire pit. A wonderful back deck for dinners or coffee in the morning. Plenty of parking and a short walk to the beach. The house is bright and sunny in a quiet beach community. Close to Lighthouse Place Outlet, Blue Chip Casino, local breweries and wineries. $100 Pet Fee; limit 2 dogs 50lbs or less. Minimum age: 21 years old **Hot tub has been opened for the season 04/03/2025
