The cottage is a stone building with cedar windows all around ,giving tranquil views to the gardens and birdlife , a beautiful space setup up for 2 people only , with queen size antique style bed . free standing clawfoot bath. 2 toilets ,one is a right royal chain pull from a time gone by. 1 shower 2 wash basins feel the serenity in the Cottage ,with direct access to your own secluded outdoor dining area so why not dine in cooking your meals in the shared kitchen and eat at the giants table.

Panoramic windows. Stunning views of the surrounding gums, creek line and majestic mountain range. A beaut little slow-combustion fire place to keep you cosy and warm. The outdoor area has a BBQ and a rustic red gum picnic setting, under the open verandah. 'Self- Catered Accommodation.'

Flinders Family Getaway

This light and airy cottage is within walking distance to all the town facilities. It's a comfortable place for the whole family. You'll love the walks you can take after dinner and the rumpus room is the perfect place to sit by the Pot Belly Fire and watch a movie. If you're into mountain bikes, Melrose is one of the best attractions in South Australia. If you don't have a bike, you can hire them in town. It is filled with books, art, trashy novels, board games and spaces to play them or watch tv and lounge in front of the fire with a glass of local wine.

The Summit, Melrose
