Mediterranean Sea: soggiorni in mulini

The beautiful windmill is located right in the heart of the old town, 5 mins drive from the other island’s center; the port. The booking is matching the description and indeed the bathroom is tiny/uncomfortable, but personally found it cute. Alternatively, you may have a shower outdoors though. The windmill has a great view of the sea, visible from the balcony or even your bed. Parking spot available, air conditioning/noise mentioned in other reviews was not an issue during our stay. Even though we did not meet the host, Dimitris was always available and more than willing to assist with all our queries promptly. Overall, if you are looking for an experience, then definitely recommendable. (p.s. ensure to have water bottles and shower gel with you, as they are not offered).

Certainement l'une de nos meilleurs experience, nous avons passé un excellent séjour chez Erwan, il est parfaitement conforme à la description, un jacuzzi proposant une vue imprenable sur les alentours, tout est pensé pour n'avoir qu'à profiter du moment et de l'endroit ! L'accueil a été très chaleureux et la communication très fluide. Nous recommandons vivement ce logement et n'hésiterons à revenir lors de notre prochain passage.

Found this place by accident and can’t believe how perfect it was. The location and views were incredible, so private and peaceful but perfectly positioned to be able to get out to explore the local areas. We especially enjoyed all the local markets, and then loved coming back in the afternoons to make the most of the beautiful pool and outdoor areas. The windmill itself was gorgeous and perfectly kitted out to make the most of the shape and space available - but we did appreciate the convenience of the under terrace room by the pool as well so we didn’t have to tackle the stairs all the time!! Jean-Regis and Anneke were welcoming and friendly and very forgiving of our appalling French! We were honoured to spend a few hours with them chatting and tasting his delicious wines and local produce. It was a holiday we we won’t forget in a hurry, and hope to be able to repeat soon.

Such wonderful hosts! Offered to pick us up from the ferry at 1am, to a the beautiful romantic windmill. Gave us a quick and comprehensive tour of the windmill and the surrounding area with suggestions for places to visit nearby and beaches to go to with the current and upcoming weather. This windmill has spectacular views, is close to many amazing restaurants and cute shops! Absolutely Perfect experience! Thank you!

I had such a nice experience at the Windmill! It is really well designed and very unique. The hot tub was great and I liked having the outdoor terrace space. The property is just a short walk from the main street in Oia. The manager, Jason, is excellent! He was very attentive and helped me with any questions I had. The provided breakfast was also very good. Also, I didn’t experience any tremors from earthquakes.

Man kann einfach nur woooowww zu der Unterkunft und Petra und Dietmar sagen. Der herzliche späte Empfang, die Sauberkeit....ja die Sauberkeit und das muss erwähnt werden *****+. Die Mühle ist wie beschrieben und auf den Bildern gezeigt. Es ist alles vorhanden und "Gott-sei-Dank" nicht überdekoriert...eben genau richtig um sich wohlfühlen zu können. Die ganze Mühle und das Grundstück sind top. In der Küche fehlt es an nichts. Das Schlafzimmer ist echt gemütlich und räumlich groß. Die Betten top (bis auf die grelle Lampe am Bett, aber das ist Geschmacksache). Nicht zu weiche Matratzen (vor allem zwei Einzelmatratzen), 2 Kissen für jeden und überhaupt perfekt. Das Badezimmer ist echt gut, besonders die Dusche. Auch die Möglichkeit Wäsche zu waschen: in die Maschine, Petra wirft die an und später selbst rausholen voll in Ordnung. Wir würden immer wieder kommen....bleibt so wie Ihr seid und bleibt bitte gesund. Fazit: wir haben es genossen und uns zu Hause gefühlt.....Danke*****

Tout d’abord, un bel accueil, puis un endroit vraiment apaisant, malgré la météo peu clémente ce jour-là. Cela nous a pas empêché de passer un bon moment totalement adapté pour un week-end à deux

Is there a more perfect AirBnB in Rhodes? I highly doubt it! A 300 yr old windmill with 4 bedrooms on a beach with reserved loungers and Tavernas either side that both deliver cold beers directly to you?! The surrounding area is also full of friendly bars and restaurants, but not too busy or loud and, of course, the magical Rhodes Town is only a 15 min taxi ride away. Chris & Anna were the perfect hosts - always available to make sure we had everything we needed to relax and enjoy this unique accommodation. We'll be back...

The location is absolutely beautiful and Manos is a great host. He arranged transport from the airport and to the port, took our orders for breakfast each night (the breakfast is delicious, by the way), and was always checking in to make sure everything was to our liking. The location is at the edge of oía, so it is quite peaceful and you can enjoy sunset fairly privately from either the hot tub or a table. It was so nice not having to compete with other tourists to find a spot to watch the sunset from, knowing we had the perfect spot back home. The actual lighthouse is quite comfortable, it doesn’t get too much light in one of the bedrooms, making it easy to sleep in. As a bonus, there are some very cute cats that live in the neighborhood who hung out (from a distance) as we enjoyed the hot tub. We could not recommend this more. I will note, this home is probably not the best fit for someone with mobility issues as the inside of the lighthouse has narrow steps and a ladder.
