A great place to stay if you are looking to enjoy the lake, nice and peaceful. We didn't bring a boat but if we did there was easy access to get your boat to the dock. We arrived after dark, and it was a bit confusing to find the house at night, but we did and everything else was awesome.

Beautiful stay, as always. The house is lovely and the sunsets are to die for. Highly recommend.

Totally recommended, beautiful place

We chose this home because we had family coming from Va and NC and it was very close off I-85. The home is beautiful, spacious and the dock area was plenty big enough for our group of 10, including a handful of teens. We spent ALL of our time down there fishing, paddle boarding and enjoying time together. We caught fish and even a turtle! No one was ever bored! We made all of our meals in the big kitchen and had plenty of room. We will definitely be back

This was our 2nd year taking our guys trip to the house. There’s 12 of us, and this house has plenty of room. The house is perfect for a fishing trip. The crappie fishing is phenomenal in bluestone creek and we caught enough to feed us all and bring some back to Maryland. The

We absolutely loved Brian and Michele‘s place. The location was perfect – so close to the winery and so close to the lake. We were up here for a family gathering over Easter weekend and the entire setting really helped us achieve our Easter goals of being with family and having fun. We would definitely come back again.

Myself and two others had a fantastic stay at Michael's Airbnb. Check-in was easy and Michael was a responsive and proactive host. The house itself is great too. All the amenities we needed and very clean. We spent almost all our time down at the dock kayaking and fishing. The dock space had plenty of shade. A larger group could easily spent time down there without feeling overcrowded. All in all, we had a wonderful stay, would definitely come back, and highly recommend it to others!

We loved our stay, agree with others that the photos don't do it justice. The view of the water through the trees from the lounge and balcony was so calming and we loved sitting ontop of the boat house right on the waters edge. We saw turtles, fish, beavers, fire Flys and birds all on the property. Great space for families, lots of shade for summer and our toddlers loved playing with the garden hose and roasting marshmellows on the fire. Air conditioning worked well, shower pressure was great and the kitchen had all the things we needed. Host was friendly and communicated well. Also super close to the shady shack which had a wonderful pontoon boat hire next door.

Cute cottage and a cute town. Ended up booking during the town’s annual lake fest and very nice. Great cottage and was a bed a breakfast. Bonus although we were there for the lake so went out early the days we were there. Would book again

Me and 7 friends stayed here for blue ridge rock festival this year. Despite the festival being a total crap show and us only getting to enjoy 1 1/2 days of the festival, we got to enjoy this beautiful house. We had plenty of movies and game nights, as well as enjoying each others company by the lake. The view from the living room and kitchen area is amazing. Me and my friends agree our trip was saved because of where we stayed. Thank you Monique for opening up your home to us :)

Comfy beds decent pillows. Quite small but cozy. The included breakfast at the restaurant is nice.

Quaint and private location. Long gravel drive that could require four wheel drive. Beautiful screened back porch with lake view that is lovely. House very clean and tidy.

Brooke’s place was amazing for me and my family we enjoyed the comfort and amenities offered! We definitely enjoyed the outdoor scenery! Definitely looking forward to booking again!

John’s home is very quiet and in a great neighborhood. The pictures don’t do justice to the beauty of the area. The home was clean and very nice. Look forward to staying there again if I’m in the area.
