Meaford: soggiorni in alloggi con caminetto

After being displaced from our home after damage from severe weather we were so fortunate to find this location. The house accommodated our family of 4 with pets for nearly a month without any issues. The kitchen is well equipped, bathrooms are well finished, bedrooms were comfortable and the location was very clean. The backyard is a beautiful and relatively private space hidden within a 15 minute walk to the downtown restaurants or the beach area. Anzhelika is an excellent host who was very responsive when needed, provided clear instructions and ample privacy. We would happily recommend this location to friends and family attending the area for events.

Our stay at Tuan’s place was as expected! It was great having so many things to do all in one place. The hot tub and pool table were a huge hit for our group! Tuan and his family were very responsive, which made our check in and check out very easy. The only constructive feedback is the basement could be cleaned more thoroughly, and information on the shuttle bus would have been helpful. We ended up walking to the village for dinner on Saturday night, which was about a 20 minute walk. Overall, Happy Home was the perfect place to stay for our friend’s getaway weekend!

The house was actually better than the photos depicted! Absolutely gorgeous! It was perfect for our large family and we would certainly reach out for future family gatherings! Mila was an incredibly responsive, accommodating, friendly and an awesome hostess! Mila was always quick to reply to messages and really made us feel welcomed! Thanks Mila, our experience was incredibly positive and we highly recommend you and your beautiful home to anyone visiting the area!

House was perfect, it was cute, rooms are nice and big, both living rooms are huges. Michael is a great hot and super pro active whenever you have a question. Wouldnt hesitate to stay again.

Lovely spot to stay with the family. We had such a nice weekend. Meaford is great place and close to both Owen sound and Collingwood to explore further. The house was comfortable and a great place for our family and dog to relax. It had everything we needed

Anna had been a great host. She was very responsive & helped where ever required. The place was well equipped, neat and clean and walkable from shopping malls and restaurants. In the end highly recommended.

I enjoyed a peaceful 2 weeks at this beautiful Airbnb! The setting is surreal surrounded by nature and a river! I had everything I needed and I enjoyed a few nights with a cozy fire in the wood stove. The bed and couches were very comfortable. The No Frills in Shelburne was a great grocery store nearby. Wendy was always very responsive and helpful. As clearly noted in the description, there is no cell service but not a big deal as there is wifi. I hope to be back again one day! A true gem!

I stayed here for my son’s competition that was in town. It was far less than a hotel and offered more comfort. Large tv to watch the hockey games at night and full kitchen and living area. The location is super easy to get to off of the Hwy and is in a great neighbourhood. It was nice out so it was a real easy walk to the waterfront to stroll the main streets and we ate at a cool Italian spot. If I ever go back to Barrie, I’ll stay here again for sure.

This was our second time staying at Jamie and Lisa’s place and it was just as good as our first visit! Great location, very homey feeling, and everything you need to feel comfortable. Highly recommend!

Had an excellent stay with my partner and I. Perfect for a short visit to Blue Mountain with the Village nearby. The host was very responsive and gave me some great recommendations for places to visit.

Excellent basement apartment, well maintained. We enjoyed our one-night stay at Donna's place. One small detail that might have been overlooked is the absence of an exhaust fan in the washroom. This may have contributed to the stagnant odour we noticed upon entering the apartment.

We had a fantastic experience staying at Nicholas's house in Collingwood! From the moment we booked, communication was excellent. Nicholas was quick to respond to any questions we had, making the entire process seamless and stress-free. The house itself was immaculate and well-maintained, with clear instructions regarding the house rules that made settling in a breeze. We truly appreciated the attention to detail in ensuring everything was in order for our stay. One small suggestion would be to have some extra salt on hand for the stairs leading to the unit. While they were already salted, having a bit more available would be helpful for those snowy days. Overall, we had a wonderful time and are grateful to Nicholas for hosting us. I had the pleasure of returning to this wonderful Airbnb, and it was just as amazing as I remembered, if not better. The space is beautifully curated, with such an artistic flair that immediately makes you feel at home. Every corner of the home is thoughtfully designed, blending comfort with creativity, making it a perfect retreat. Sara is an absolute gem. She was incredibly responsive to all my questions, ensuring everything was perfect for my stay. Her warmth and attention to detail made the entire experience seamless and inviting. I can’t recommend this place enough, it’s not just a stay; it’s an experience.

Firstly, this home was the nicest vacation home my family and I have EVER stayed at. It was very spacious, luxurious finishes throughout , it fit my family of 7 very well. The rooms are all good sizes. There are 4 rooms with beds in them, an office on the main floor that we put a crib in for the baby and an additional room in the basement which could be used as a bedroom if you bring a blowup mattress. The backyard is huge, the playground set was a great treat for my kids, however the hot tub did not seem like it was operable. Mina our host was absolutely AMAZING! Her response time to any of our enquires was very prompt, she made sure we truly enjoyed our stay. We would have loved if the home had blackout curtains as the rooms get quite bright in the morning when the sun comes up, but it wasn't the end of the world. All in all, it was an AMAZING STAY! Definitely recommended!!

This home is beautiful and well equipped. Giovanni was pleasant and responded quickly to inquiries. My only suggestion would be for visitors to check the beds before choosing rooms, as some bed are firm and others quite soft.

Had a wonderful stay at Irina’s with a group of 8 adults with toddlers/babies. The home was very spacious and clean. We had a very comfortable stay. Irina was always responsive, accommodating and flexible. We will definitely be back, especially in warmer weather so we can take advantage of the outdoor patio which is beautiful.

We had a wonderful stay at Susan’s place. The house was large enough with all the utilities and amenities we needed to accommodate our family group. We are so grateful for how accommodating Susan was during our stay- she went above and beyond to ensure that we had a comfortable stay with two very young children. The property is lovely, spacey and kept in a clean state and has a lovely garden space with outdoor furniture too. Susan was a great host and very responsive with any queries or questions we had. We had a great time and would love to stay here again!

We had a great Thanksgiving with friends and family. There are many things to do besides the staycation because the basement has a playroom with billiards, air hockey, some board games and a small gym. We cooked for dinner and the kitchen had complete tools, except there wasn't salt available (which was our fault cause we forgot to bring one). Fortunately, there's a 5-minute drive supermarket and we were able to get salt. The host was very helpful by providing all of the closeby supermarkets, cafes, and restaurants before our stay. Would come back in Summer next year to enjoy the beach. :)
