Footbridge Farm Cabin

Footbridge Farm is a quiet country get-away located on 90 wooded acres, 15 miles NE of Decorah. We are close to the mouth of Canoe Creek, the Upper Iowa River and adjacent to state DNR land. The cozy owner-built cabin has an open ceiling with exposed beams and rafters giving a sense of spaciousness. Local stone was used in the exterior walls and the floor-to-ceiling fire back behind the wood-burning stove. The floors are oak and slate. Detailed craftsmanship can be found throughout the cabin.

Suite 2 - Lincoln's Lodge

New construction for the summer of 2025. This cozy retreat is full of all the amenities you will need for your stay. The main room features a fully equipped kitchen, dining area and reclining sofa with smart TV. The bathroom includes a corner shower and washer/dryer. The bedroom has a queen bed and the loft with ladder access has one full, one short double and one twin floor mattresses perfect for kids or able-bodied adults. 1 bedroom 1 bath with loft. Cozy home where you can see Paradise. This memorable place is anything but ordinary. Views for miles of the Mississippi River, bluff tops and you can soar with the Eagles. What a place to relax in the newly added hot tub while you enjoy the view in what is call "God's Country". This is promised to be a one of a kind view. After a fun day in The Driftless Area, come relax and unwind in Prairie du Chien. Beautifully decorated 2 bedroom home with a spacious kitchen, large island, dishwasher, washer/dryer & 5' walk in shower. We supply all cooking/baking items/utensils. High-speed internet with smart TVs in both bedrooms and living room. Outdoor pool (seasonal), hot tub and massage chair. We love dogs too, so we provide a dog run (there is a pet fee). For our fishermen- there is off street parking for your boats.

Tranquility & Vistas on the Farm in the Guest Barn

When you arrive at our 16 acre farmstead and enter the Guest Barn, you'll notice the construction materials which were salvaged from a nearby barn and corncrib. The timbers from these buildings were torn down, moved to our farm and rebuilt into a smaller “new” barn. It truly represents a real farm experience you can feel. While here, you'll slow down and enjoy the tranquility. Walk around the farm, make friends with a cow, watch barn kitties play, while gazing across the vast farm vistas.

The Cottage Cabin

The Cottage Cabin is a unique modern cabin. It is an addition to the Railway Lodge , Cabin area. Still private and peaceful but yet perfect for couples or bigger families to be together on this large property if needed. Plenty of space to roam ,fish , sit and relax by the fire. If you are looking for a relaxing place the Cottage Cabin is perfect. Don’t be alarmed by the Trains “ Railway Lodge” when going by pretty cool to see at night. You are secluded but still close enough to nearby towns.
