The She Shed

This cozy rustic cabin definitely has its charm, and is fondly known as "The She Shed". It has a quiet front porch for relaxing after your day of exploring the area, a private picnic area and firepit. Lots of hiking trails nearby, river rafting, new Valemount bike park, horseback tours, and interesting locals. Your host is friendly and knowledgeable of this special place. Wi-Fi now available! Outhouse only. Cold running water in the cabin. Shower is outside in the greenhouse. Limited power.

Mountain Cabin on McKirdy Creek Farm in Valemount

Enjoy the feeling of backwoods seclusion in our cozy, rustic mountain cabin. Only a 500m walk from the farmhouse, this private cabin is nestled at the edge of the forest overlooking the fields of the Canoe Valley. It backs onto the Rocky Mountains and has views of the Monashee and Caribou Mountain ranges. This is a walk-in cabin, so you will need to be prepared to carry what you need in. Kitchen supplies and bedding are provided. There is no running water and the bathroom is a pit toilet.

This tree house is a getaway dream. It emanates romance and is a stay unlike any other. 14 feet up in the trees with lots of windows and lovely wood work you'll sleep like never before. Enjoy coffee up in the trees with the birds. Peek over the rim of your coffee and look down to see the dear grazing the fields. I hand crafted this treehouse from the ground up, it was entirely built from salvaged material. It has all the amenities of a hotel but a hotel for just you and your partner.
