This was a great stay, it was half the price of a hotel and we were able to cook while we were there! The place was clean and homie, my brother, wife and I really enjoyed our stay!

What a great, quiet stay we had! The weekend was not quite what we had planned because the weather was cold, icy and made travel difficult. Gretchen's place was so warm and inviting after spending hours longer on the road than we had intended, and we slept great. My partner and I came in separate cars and the only issue we had was that my car wasn't able to make it completely up the back driveway because of the ice, but that was nobody's fault but mother nature. His truck was able to make it up the driveway just fine. We would definitely stay at Gretchen's place again.

We worked remote for two weeks at Joelle's farmhouse on the hill. A very spacious apartment, attached to their house, with another rental apartment above it. Loved walking out the door every morning to collect blackberries for my breakfast. Kitchen is complete and a pleasure to be in (in fact all the spaces are). Wifi was fast and reliable. You'll definitely need a car here; the driveway ascends 500 feet. We would drive down to Tenino's town park, and then run or bike along the excellent rail trail. The town grocery store is good. Not much opportunity to wander by foot from the house, except to visit Joelle's garden and blackberries. She brought us fresh arugula gifts several times. While the unit was private, we felt a bit surrounded. One day a truckload of firewood showed up outside the bedroom window unannounced, and was then stacked over several days. The fella upstairs woke us up every day for a week with 6am footsteps, and Joelle didn't help when we asked.

Wonderful place to stay with family, perfectly laid out for large group, we were able to get earlier check in, great supply of dishes and supplies for cooking Thanksgiving meal for 14 people. There was even a supply of firewood! The ping pong and Foosball was a big hit for the kids, extra tables and chairs were much appreciated and we'd be happy to stay here again!

We loved our stay at the Alpine Haven! It was a great location as we were traveling to different national parks. The space was also super clean and neat, and loved the decorations. Hope to visit again!

This is a beautiful place! The area is peaceful and well maintained. It was cozy and nicely furnished. The beds are very comfortable. Nicole did a wonderful job stocking the basics ++. Loved the restaurant recommendations. Ate breakfast in Mossy Rock and had a family dinner at The Great China Wall. Excellent 4 night stay!

We had a wonderful stay. It was a beautiful place and so clean. Since it was pet friendly I wasn’t sure how clean it would be but it smelled fresh as soon as we walked in. Very well stocked kitchen. I wish the weather was nicer so we could have enjoyed the outdoor space. We would definitely stay here again especially in the summer.

We loved this house. So much original character and thoughtful updates. The hosts were great! They were so flexible as our schedule changes the day before the booking and they worked with us on it without hesitation!

My stay at John’s home in Chehalis, WA was magical. Nestled on a serene horse ranch, we were greeted by two beautiful horses that set the tone for an enchanting visit. The home was spacious, thoughtfully designed, and full of luxurious touches—like a fully stocked kitchen, cozy den with sunset views, and a dreamy patio with a fire pit. I loved watching the horses wander nearby and birds splash in the fountain each morning. The amenities were next-level: a whirlpool tub, sauna, and even a bedsheet air pump that kept the bed cool—so unique! John was an amazing host, and the home was spotless and smelled incredible. If you’re seeking beauty, comfort, and peace, this place is a true gem. The photos don’t do it justice. I’m already counting the days until I return.

The country location is a plus, was very quiet. Traffic marginal for those going to and returning from work. Not enough to really even mention in our case. Was a positive for post surgery recovery. Was not a fan of flannel sheets but suitable. Would return in the future.

We loved it here. It was only 6 minutes away from the Mt Rainier National Park entrance and the house itself was really nice.

The residence is very clean and comfortable. The master bed is huge! I want one. Everything that we needed was provided. We were in the country, yet the town is on the otherside of the trees. We plan on staying when we are back to see the kids. There is no need to look elsewhere.
