Relax and unwind in our intimate studio by Lake Karapiro. Treetops studio is situated in a peaceful garden setting with lovely views over the treetops above Lake Karapiro. At the end of the drive(500m) is the Karapiro domain - enjoy a short walk to have a coffee at the Podium cafe or cycle/walk the Te Awa cycleway. We are 20mins from Hamilton airport and a great location to access local tourist attractions: Cambridge 10mins, Hobbiton 30mins, Rotorua 1hour, Waitomo caves 1 hour.

Owharoa Hideaway

Owharoa Hideaway offers couples a self contained stay in a rural setting. A north facing aspect located above the Karangahake Gorge just a short walk/drive from the Owharoa Waterfall where the most scenic parts of the Hauraki rail-trail cycle-way can be accessed. The accommodation is a 5 minute walk from CBD and a short car drive to scenic points of interest in the district .

The nearest cafe is Shires rest at Hobbiton movie set or there are many in Cambridge and Matamata

Morrinsville is a centrally located Waikato town. It is less than two hours from Auckland and both coasts and half an hour from Hamilton. The accommodation is walking distance to the town centre with supermarkets, bars and restaurants. The studio room has it's own access and is set in a large restful section with mature trees. You will have a peaceful private place to stay with a garden view.
