Carole's place suited us perfectly. We were at a conference so did not eat at Carole's place. The spouting was dripping where we had to sand to access the lock box which was a bit annoying. The beds were very comfortable and the shower was great. We enjoyed sitting in the lounge whichhad comfortable chairs. Good off-street parking.

Host was friendly and proactive. Great property with a nice view and complete amenities. We highly recommend the place and will definitely book again.

Kirsty and Bruce were lovely helpful hosts and their place is gorgeous, quiet and relaxing space, spotlessly clean. Beautiful non crowded beach a short walk away. Breakfast was all locally sourced or homegrown and was delicious. Would love to come back.

We had the most amazing stay at the Luxury Seaside Holiday Home in Waverley! The house is super spacious and was perfect for our group—plenty of room for everyone to relax without feeling crowded. Having two kitchens and several bathrooms was such a bonus, especially with a big group. The location is just beautiful. It’s only a short walk to Waverley Beach, which has these incredible black sands—such a unique spot! We loved hanging out on the deck in the evenings, watching the sunset with a drink in hand, and the spa pool was the perfect place to unwind. There was so much to do in the house too—table tennis, darts, and loads of space for the kids to play. It really felt like a home away from home. The host was great—super responsive and made sure we had everything we needed. Honestly, we couldn’t have asked for a better spot for our getaway.

Location was perfect for us, close to the stadium and not far to city centre. Very clean, comfortable and stocked with not only everything we needed but spoilt with the extras stocked in the fridge and pantry for us. Loved having the extra tv in the bedroom chrome cast for both so no arguments over what to watch. Host was quick to respond and friendly. Would definitely stay again.

The beautiful historic Fire Station has been transformed into a posh home decor store on the ground level and some very nice apartments on the first floor. Beautifully finished hardwood floors, large rooms and high ceilings give a sense of grandeur to the place. We enjoyed the comfortable leather couches and chairs in the living room. When we needed a bigger pot for cooking and some extra hangers for clothes, the host, though out of town that weekend, responded immediately and had the maid bring them over. The apartment is very walkable to all the attractions downtown and, if you have a car, there is a secure parking place in the courtyard. There can be a bit of road noise outside the bedrooms, but not so much that earplugs can’t handle. We would recommend staying at this beautiful apartment if you want a convenient place to stay in Whanganui.

Andy's place was beautifully decorated from inside with picturesque surroundings outside. The hosts were really kind and made sure that we felt right at home. We'd love to come back again. Highly recommend!

was a perfect place for my family and o to come ans visit, although the driveway was tricky. however the owner lived next door and offered to drive my mum down, but my mum manage to navigate and onnthe advice of the owner did not drive down the driveway..however once we were all in the place was great. we had everything we needed. unfortunately my dog was not well and did make a mess, we tidy up best we could and I let the owner know before we left and said any costs to clean it better I would cover. there was and I settled this with them, she had to be taken to the vets that day, she jad never done anything like that before, the vets thought it was something she ate. anyway we were very grateful the owners were understanding.
