Place was beautiful and clean. Its right nearby the beach, can see the see from windows. My whole family loved staying at Janice’s place. We would definitely book her again. Very friendly people.

A great place to stay,in an ideal and convenient location. Thought the key situation would be a bit complicated but because the instructions were so clear, that it was quite simple. The apartment was spotless, the equipment was good and easy to use. Furnishings were very good and comfortable. Beds very comfortable and heating system very easy to use. Everything had a very spacious and welcoming feel to it. We would definitely use this apartment again. We had a very enjoyable experience.

Ideal beachfront location on the North Bay, seconds walk away from Peasholm Park and Scarborough Outdoor Theatre and you practically step out onto the beach. 15 minute walk to the town centre, maybe 30 mins to stroll around the headland to South Bay and the harbour. Well appointed and comfortable, secure private parking, a great base for a few days on the N. Yorks coast.

Loved the flat which was very suitable for 2 adults and 2 children. Appreciated the box of toys, travel cot and bath. One minor enquiry was sorted very quickly by our host. Easy access to the sea and local shops. Will definitely book again.

This was our third at Sally’s place and we continue to enjoy it! Would recommend to anyone wanting to have a weekend away, perfect for small children and young families. We will be back again, I am sure!

Thank you for hosting us Val. We had an amazing stay at Hazel’s Hideaway. The location was perfect, walking distance to everywhere we wanted to go. The bonus of onsite parking was great for us. The Hideaway was beautifully presented, very clean and included everything we could need. The little extra touches were much appreciated. I highly recommend Hazel’s Hideaway and Val as a host. I’m hoping we will visit again soon!

Peters place was lovely! We decided on a last minute weekend away and this was exactly what we needed. We always go somewhere with a kitchen as we have a toddler. It had everything we needed and more. The place was clean and tidy. We were able to log into the smart tv and enjoy our streaming platforms. The sofa bed was great for our toddler. Really good for the price. We had a great family weekend! Would stay again!

Harry was the perfect host ! Even though we didn’t meet Harry , We was arriving earlier so asked if we could check in early and it was no problem at all !! The house was perfect for us all including the dog clear instructions on how the heating worked and to get in the property ! Very fast at replying to any questions we had ! Perfect location as it’s only 5/10 mins to the beach/front , We have a lovely New Year’s Eve with our family there in Harry’s lovely home ! Thank you so very much Harry

From the moment we stepped through the door of Steph’s place we felt right at home, the house was spotless and so comfortable. The decor was beautiful. It is in the ideal location to access all amenities as well as the local beaches and to collect seaglass. The communication was great and the instructions were clear. Really enjoyable few days on the East coast. Lovely cottage, exactly as described with great touches, particularly the trampoline!! I would certainly recommend to anyone looking for a well placed cottage in the Whitby area

Hellen was such a star and her kindness added to the home, welcomine feeling of the house. Ideally located 15 mn from Seaham, in a peaceful streets with two little shops nearby if you need anything… And the house is so well equipped, so comfy. A huge thanks, everything was absolutely perfect!

Stayed over the Easter bank holiday weekend, great pre arrival instructions and local recommendations were really helpful. Easy to find, park and access the property. Everything inside was immaculate and in good order. Whitby centre easily walkable. No hesitation in recommending to others.

We had a wonderful stay at Joannes home! It is so perfectly located to do all we wanted to - seaglass hunting!! Huge benefit to have the parking spot on the front drive. Also huge bonus to be in walking distance to ammenities - asda, pharmacy, home shops and food outlets. Everything we needed was here - a home away from home. The tea/cake/milk was a kind touch. Comfy, clean bright airy base. Comfy sofa and bed. Really well decorated and maintained, lovely colour schemes and accents - nothing has been overlooked. Joanne was an attentive host with friendly communication. Wouldn't hesitate to come back if we are ever up North again. Thank you so much!

Thanks to Sarah for letting us stay. The place is so convenient for the beach and it was such a treat to have a house to retreat back to. Great communication from the host (we needed assistance working the heating). We hope to come back again!

We had a fantastic stay in this lovely home and highly recommend it! Spotlessly clean, powerful shower and comfy beds with the most gorgeous views over the fields. The house had everything we needed (plus hand wash, toilet roll, kitchen roll, washing up liquid and sponge, cleaning spray and cloth, tea coffee milk and biscuits, travel cot, night light plug, towels) and the kids enjoyed the books! It was in a nice peaceful location, and we enjoyed the walk down into Runswick Bay. Jamie was a brilliant host- he gave us lots of helpful recommendations, check in was easy, his communication was great and he was happy to help with anything. We definitely hope to return for another visit :)

Fantastic 3 night stay. Fully equipped and excellent location. Would, without hesitation, highly recommend. Second bedroom is a little small, but perfectly adequate. Two bathrooms is a bonus. We will definitely return. A Super Host for a reason. Thank you

It’s a great place to stay and so close to all amenities including public transport. Once inside away from the crowds it was peaceful with a great view of the river

We stayed with Alison and John for goth weekend in April 2025. The apartment is amazing, there was everything you could ever had needed plus a lovely welcome gift too. The heated mirror in the bathroom was a good surprise! The location was perfect for all the happenings at goth weekend. Would definitely stay again if lucky enough to find it empty 🖤

A beautiful apartment, the location is great, with the sea at the end of the street. Very comfortable bed and powerful shower. Nice big telly for when it rained one afternoon. We parked right outside the apartment and there seemed plenty of space for this. Nice, quiet and safe street, 10 min walk to the amusements on the foreshore.

The place was easy to get to and exactly what we needed for some time away. It’s clean and all essentials are provided making self catering easy. The host had even called to make sure that everything was okay with our stay. Would recommend to anyone looking for some time away in Whitby.

We had a lovely 3 night stay with our toddler. The view is beautiful! The house had everything we needed and was spotless. We took a walk to find the waterfall and although very steep it didn’t take too long, even with a 20 month old in tow. The pub down the hill was also very lovely. The nearest shop was about a 10 minute drive away but wasn’t a problem. We visited Whitby, Scarborough and Robin Hood’s bay. Would definitely recommend for anyone looking for a peaceful scenic stay :)

We really enjoyed our stay at Paula’s apartment. Ideally located for walks down to the beach, close to our favourite bakers Botham’s, and the harbour and abbey were all within walking distance. We had everything we needed within the apartment and would definitely recommend as a place to stay if you are planning a visit to Whitby.
