Enjoy your next vacation in our lovely Cedar Log home "Moose" near the Cabot Trail in Middle River/Baddeck on Cape Breton Island, NS! The Cottage is suitable for seniors as well as for families. It is fully furnished and has 1 bedroom, 1 bath and a living-eating area with a kitchinette (with pots and pans and everything you need). The cottage can be booked with 3 adults or 2 adults and up to 2 kids on the sleeping sofa in the living-eating area. Concerning bringing pets, please feel free to ask.

The suite has a dream coffee bar with excellent coffee and tea choices as well as other hot beverages too. You will also be delighted with fresh that morning seasonal muffins that I make and forage the fruit for! You also have your own private deck and entrance with a table and umbrella! As a guest you have full access to the fire pit with wood included! NO MICROWAVE.

This cottage is centrally located between Baddeck, Inverness and Cheticamp. It is approximately 30 min each way. It features a lovely, large back yard with firepit area and mountain views. The Portree bridge is a short walk down the road, which is a popular swimming spot. The river runs along the opposite side of the road. There are lots of local beaches, hiking trails and golf courses in the area. The property also has direct access to the highland snowmobile/atv trails.

Our little slice of heaven is situated right on the Cabot Trail in TARBOT, NS. Surrounded by crown land so it is very private. The property has its own little waterfall for guests to enjoy. The cabin is one of 4 on the property. Sit out and watch the stars, listen to the birds as the morning sun rises, roast some marshmallows, play board games, read a book, do some yoga, or simply do nothing at all. This meticulously crafted tiny house on wheels will bring you back to a traditional farm house feel. With a double bed on the main level, and a loft with a double bed, this tiny house comfortably sleeps 4. This tiny house offers a fully appointed spacious kitchen, a 3 piece bathroom including a flush toilet, as well as Wifi, smart TV, a wood stove, inflow heating and AC. Kayaks & SUP’s, BBQ shelter use are included with your stay.

Swallow Bank Cottage #3 on the Margaree River

This one bedroom cottage is located in Margaree Centre. Our four, full housekeeping cottages sit along the Margaree River, just minutes from the Cabot Trail. Cottage 3 has been recently renovated inside and out. New bathroom, upgraded kitchen, and a queen bed with a luxury Logan & Cove mattress. The cottage also has a sofa bed in the living area for extra sleeping space. Check in is anytime after 3pm. Check out is 11am.

Our little Garden Shed is a rustic guesthouse on our family property, perched above the beautiful Margaree Valley and just off the Cabot Trail. It's a cozy, rustic space with a composting toilet, solar shower, woodstove heat, and lots of charm — best suited to guests looking for a simple, countryside stay.
