Situated on a hillside overlooking the historic St. Ann’s bay, the Old Trail cabin is conveniently located just 5.5km from the start of the Cabot trail and the Gaelic College. A great spot to start or finish your Cabot Trail adventures! The cabin is designed to feel as open and airy as possible for a small space. The bedroom has a queen bed and the loft has a single bed. Kitchenette has coffee maker, toaster, mini fridge and microwave. All amenities needed are only 15 mins away in Baddeck.

Cabot Trail Wilderness Cabin | The Canopy

The Canopy is the 2nd largest of the 3 wilderness cabins, and closest to the washrooms, nestled among the forest which leads down to the waterfront. All the cabins sleep two people, with a personal fire pit, bbq, kitchenette, drinking water (although no running water), and all the amenities needed to spend a few nights in nature. The shared outdoor bathroom has been hand crafted with lots of natural light, a composting toilet (i.e. non-flushing), hot water shower and two sinks.

16x16 cozy rustic cabin , located in River Denys; across from the river . The cabin is an open space with a double bed , tv and eating area. Relax on the deck to drink your morning coffee or watch the sunset. There is also a campfire area, picnic table and a propane barbeque. Appeals to leave-no-trace campers who look for stays off the grid! 2 night minimum long weekends only. If you’re joining us in the summer we are only 1.5min from east bay sand bar an amazing beach and 3min from the walking trails:) complete with fire pit and large back deck.
