We love staying here! It is so private, peaceful, cozy, and perfect for what we look for in a little vacation. Joannah is a great, responsive host. The bottle of wine was a nice touch. She leaves tons of local recommendations for you to discover. The hot tub on the river is exactly what we needed and look forward to! We’ve been back a few times and will hopefully return.

What a great place to stay for a weekend getaway with friends! Very roomy, hot tub was great, kitchen had everything we needed to cook. Everything in the place was very high quality!!

This is our second time staying at Nina's cabin. It's so clean, comfortable, and has everything you may need for a relaxing getaway. Do not pass on Nina's cabin or you will be missing out.

Very great place to stay, extremely cozy and warm feeling. We loved the hot tub and the fact they had a grill and a nice kitchen for cooking. Only a short drive from Ludington and Manistee as well. 10/10 would recommend.

Awesome stay at the Thompsonville Lodge! JT was a great host. Everything was in good order! Got a detailed guide in advance from JT with great local suggestions like Rosie’s Country Cafe. That’s another 5 star recommendation! A must go for an amazing breakfast! The whole place, including the Hot Tub, was immaculate! Kids loved the bunk bed in the loft area, and the arcade game that had a a ton of different playable titles. Great place all around, and would definitely stay again!

We had a fantastic weekend stay at this charming cabin! It was the perfect spot for our family skiing trip. The cabin comfortably accommodated all 7 of us, including 2 young kids, with plenty of space for everyone to spread out and relax. The kids loved the cozy atmosphere and the games available, while the adults appreciated the well-equipped kitchen and the warm, inviting living area after a long day on the slopes. The location was ideal—close to the ski resort but still private enough for a peaceful retreat. The host was also incredibly thoughtful and provided everything we needed for a smooth and memorable stay. Highly recommend this cabin for families looking for a cozy, convenient getaway!

The home, property, setting, views, amenities and responsiveness from our host at Agape Vacation Rentals ( Jean) was amazing! Easy drives to the lakes and Leelanau Peninsula. Great spot and great host. Lost power in the middle of our stay but, made the best of it and enjoyed quiet time around the fireplace.

We loved it here! It was exactly what we needed. The location was exactly as described. It was extremely homey and peaceful. Mark was very helpful throughout our complete stay and we definitely look forward to booking again in the future. Definitely would recommend staying here.

The log cabin was fabulous. It was perfectly appointed and, even though not quite warm enough outside just yet, Bar Lake made all stress subside.

This was our second stay at Russ’ and Jade’s. If you’re looking for a peaceful and quiet place in nature..this is it! The cabin is very inviting and clean, and the view of the river is beautiful. We appreciated the immediate response from the hosts when needed. It’s a great place.

Cabin was perfect. Clean & comfortable. Great location. Road orv trails. Really enjoyed the fire pit. Cabin is close to the road, but don’t be concerned about that. We only saw a handful of vehicles pass all weekend. No neighbors within sight. Kids enjoyed running and playing in the yard. I would highly recommend

We enjoyed our stay! The dogs loved the fenced in back yard and it was in a perfect location to go hiking.

Have stayed at the cozy cabin many times!!! One of our favorite places to stay! It is so peaceful. Love the wood burning stove on cold nights. Looking forward to our next stay with our pup. Hosts are wonderful!

This was my first time renting an Airbnb and I was hesitant given the reputation. Christina's cabin was beyond 5 stars. Quiet, remote, peaceful, and beautiful. There were instructions for any questions you could think of. Christina has thought of everything. Even if something was forgotten, Christina had extra. I will be back for another fall vacation at this cabin in the future.

I’ve stayed at a lot of Airbnbs and Pam was by far the best host I’ve dealt with yet the place was awesome nice and peaceful I can’t wait to do it again thanks again Pam

We had a great stay! It was peak fall foliage and 70 degrees. The cottage was perfect, nestled right on 3 private acres which made it the perfect child free weekend getaway. We enjoyed the sauna, the fire pit and the sounds of nature. Robin was very responsive and helpful! If you're looking for rest and relaxation I would recommend The Acorn!

The cabin is beautiful and very clean. It is well away from the nearest neighbouring cabins and the driveway is about 300 yards long into the forest so completely secluded and very peaceful. We had a few visits from the wild turkeys in the evening just before dusk which was lovely. We did have one evening where we were visited by lots of mosquitoes but being in the middle of the forest it was to be expected. We bought some oil and a burner and problem solved! The gas bbq was an added bonus. A lovely stay, thank you.

We had a great time staying here for our ATV trip! Location was great! Host was great at responding to any question I had.

Krista's Cabin #5 (and the whole place in general) is really nice! It's a beautiful property that is perfect to getaway. The cabins are perfectly in-between the right amount of outdoors and cabin in the woods feeling while still being a bit nicer. It's the perfect mix as many cabins we found were too renovated and too modern. We wanted to feel like we were in a cabin and that's exactly what we felt like! The grounds are cool and entertaining, the lake front is nice, the lodge is always neat to have a "community center" like that. It was the perfect cozy getaway that we wanted for our weekend. It was so comfortable and relaxing. If you live anywhere around people, get out here to this property and take a break!

This cabin was just as described . It was very secluded and peaceful. Lots of wildlife and beautiful views. The cabin was cozy and had all the amenities we may have needed to use per the host. Excellent get away spot and close to Cadillac if you need to get out and about. Our host was very quick to respond whenever we had a question . Would definitely recommend this cozy cabin getaway and I would love to stay again sometime.

We had a wonderful stay. The cabin was extremely clean, and super cute. The property is charming! Having no Internet was tough with 3 kids! But it forced us to be in the moment and actually talk to one another. On our first night there as we were unpacking the car, a porcupine walked into the yard. The kids were so excited to see one in person. They are still talking about it. I would absolutely stay here again.

Wonderful place to stay. The check in process was very easy for my first time staying at an Airbnb. The bedrooms, kitchen, living and linens were clean. I would definitely stay here again when I visit this area again.
